Hi! Can anyone tell me which TV Antenna should I choose? I am currently living in a rural area. My budget is no more than 300$. I am using Ecostar LED TV. So suggest me accordingly.

Yep, I bought one of those and planted it on my roof and pointed it west without doing any research. Picked up about 40 channels crystal clear. Planning on getting a rotor like the good old days to see what else I can pick up. I too live in the boonies. There are tons of trees and tall hills here so I was actually shocked I got anything.

This is the one I picked up.

Try Philips Rabbit Ears Indoor TV Antenna. I live in NW Calgary and had hoped to pick up the local stations, mostly for the local news, and this is exactly what I got.

The roof antennas are powerful compare to the inside home antennas.
My advice to all is to point the antenna towards the cable satellite or big tower antenna and scan for channels when the skies are clear multiple times.
Usually the first time you scan for channels, the antenna doesn't pick up all of them.

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

best bet is to start on antennaweb.org and plug in your address and see what they recommend.  I use Antenna Direct ClearStream2 (somehow the 2 is better than the 4 btw) and have great results.

note antennaweb will give you a compass heading for making sure you grab the signals you want.

getting the compass headings was the key to success when i first did the install.  Havent touched the antenna in 6 years, no signal quality issues either.

Hard pressed to beat one of the old style giant roof mounted antenna on a small tower if you can make it happen.

Even if you cant rotate them. I hid one in the peak of our roof years ago in the attic and it did incredible for not even being able to point it in the optimal direction.

There were incredible years ago and still are the best IMO.

I have found that even he cheap ones pick up about the same amount as an expensive one. Of course it’s best to go with a roof if you want the most channels but you probably are not really going to improve the signals much if at all if you spent three or four times more money then a cheaper one. Facts are the technology is really so old it’s became pretty easy to do.

I would for sure go with the budget option. Quality doesn’t matter too much when it comes to those

If you're handy, you can actually build one that's surprisingly good for picking up long range signals, just search up db8 antenna plans

If you're looking for one on your roof, the Antennas Direct DB8e is amazing from the reviews. And bc its not solid, it blends in with the roof from a distance. I think it's like $150 last time I checked.
