X17 Mouse Freezing Issue

So my mouse freezes fairly often.
 
At first I thought it was the polling rate, but after lowering the polling rate and restarting, the problem persists.
I feel like the first day I used it, it was fine. Then it started to bug out on me after I messed with the polling rate once.
 
It never has the same issue. Sometimes it holds the click, other times it just doesn't move. I feel like whatever state the mouse was in when it crashed is whatever it holds it at. Doesn't only happen in games. Happens on the desktop as well.
 
I'm on the newest firmware and using the newest version of the software. Anyone have any ideas? Only thing I actually did change is I removed the bottom magnetic plate because something is magnetic on my desk or something and it keeps sticking to the desk so it feels really weird. I don't think this should change the behavior of the mouse at all though.

    I am also having issues, and it is brand new. It freezes every few seconds, and then eventually stops working completely after a few minutes.

    What ended up working for me was plugging it in directly into the motherboard to a USB 3 port. Try that. Also, 8k polling rate (or anything above 1k for that matter) doesn't seem to work very well.

    Thanks for the reply! I tried that several times and it still does not work. 

    I'm going to RMA it (first time RMAing anything).

    I was REALLY looking forward to setting up this mouse since I now have all the necessary parts to run nVidia Reflex. Hopefully a new X17 will come back from RMA soon™.

    could be due to a virus /malware . try to check the mouse with another pc.

    Just got the X17. freeze freeze freeze.
    Fixed. Installed the Unleashed RGB software and switched the usb to a usb 3.0 port.
    Bam done. Works great. I would say usb 3.0 is the key and the software a must.
