Black mounting Bracket Removable on Hybrid Kit? (see picture)

Expecting my Hybrid Kit tomorrow. Is the black bracket "easily" removable and re-mountable surrounding the actual block?  I see screws in the picture,
 
Not a deal breaker, but I'd like to use my own Asetek based cooler (Corsair H105) I have sitting around.   I would benefit from the 38mm radiator thickness the H105 offers versus 28mm thickness that comes on the EVGA cooler.
 
Edit:  Anyone know what cooler the Hybrid Kit actually uses?  Is it a custom cooler? Curious as I'd like to look at thermal performance.
