I'm having an issue with the site right now. Connecting from my cable internet I get Access Denied, I switch over to tethering off my phone and no issue. What can be causing this? Does this on FireFox and Edge browsers.

Wait half an hour and it will be back to normal.
Doing too many actions in too short of a period of time gets us a half hour temp ban.
It's a temp ban on the IP address.  That's why switching your connection makes it work again.  It's not a browser problem.

Weird type of ban. I can't even get to My Products, My Notifies or all that important stuff. I thought a ban would still let you into those areas?, just blocked you from posting in the forums?

I am getting failure to load images on the store page, probably hundreds or thousands doing the same thing.

It's a temp IP ban from the entire website.  Maybe it has something to do with bot protection or DDoS reduction or who knows.  It has nothing to do with cookies, your PC, or your browser.  It has happened to me A LOT.  I report a spammer in 20 different threads, and then I am temp banned from ONLY that ONE IP address.  About half an hour later, I am back baby!

Interesting, never knew of this. My posting habit has been the same today as it has been this whole week. Probably less posting today as not very many emails to purchase cards have been sent out, so nothing to post about in the queue tracker threads I have.

That's interesting.  Maybe you tried viewing the site too many times while the restriction was in place, and that reset the length of the restriction.
 
I would still expect it to start working after waiting a while.  I don't know the exact timing.  For me, it seems like after about half an hour it starts working again, but with super high restrictions which easily trigger it to happen again after the restriction expires.  After the restriction expires for long enough, the likelihood of it happening again seems to reduce over time.  It must be a restriction which changes in length and sensitivity based on factors which I don't understand.
 
For example, I had this happen to me after reporting approximately 20 posts from a spammer.  About half an hour later, the restriction was lifted and I could view the website again.  But then I reported maybe 2 more posts, and then the restriction happened again for approximately another half hour.  So, it definitely seems to be variable.  I am often on this website early in the morning when others aren't around, so I sometimes find a lot of spam posts while mods are asleep.
 
Since December 21st, this has happened to me maybe half a dozen times.
 
I bet that I could trigger this to happen simply from editing this post over and over again enough times.
 
When it happens, your user name on this forum doesn't get the banned icon next to it, and you can still view this site from other IP addresses, that's why I don't think it is specifically an account-related thing.

@ty_ger07 & Kram36:  I've had the same deal of "Access Denied" when marking a lot of posts as spam.  Generally, I clear everything, and am able to log back in and the same thing will happen when I start marking a couple as spam, like ty_ger07 above, I get denied and can't log in.  It also happens periodically when I open a thread in another tab to copy a permalink to include in a post.
 
When I can not get back in, I just edit photos for a bit and log in later, i.e. at least one to two hours.

This happens on every PC I have, it's not a cookie deal and I did clear the cache. I even installed another browser and the same Access Denied. Tethering to my phone is the only way I can currently get on the site.

I assume that EVGA is the only site that has been a problem.  Just throwing this out as an idea based upon what happened with your phone before and after you started it, have you tried, as a test, using a VPN?
 
It seems that your cable IP address is blocked at EVGA's end.

🤔  look at this now:  This is what it reads on my end, the rest of the threads it says 1 minute, 2 hours, etc. except mine, weird

Clearing cache, using different browsers does nothing. I have to get a new IP every time it happens. In order to get a new IP on my cable modem, I would have to leave it off for 4 hours or more, I can't do that. So I've been tethering to my phone, when that IP gets the Access Denied, I shut the phone down for a bit and it will get a new IP, this is not optimal, as I have limited data usage before it slows to a crawl trying to load a webpage and it's just slow anyways before I hit my data cap.
 
Did you contact EVGA about it? If so, what did they tell you?

Got it Kram, unlike some of the regular folks, I unplug my modem and router when I am not home or around the house. I dont like my PC being plugged with the internet cable 24/7.  
I have not talk to anyone at EVGA yet, but feel free to add me in the list with the issue. It is spreading around or is a certain number of users are being targeted I would like to know.
I think is a profile issue not an internet issue where someone can temp Ban you.
