if nvidia's tool says is already updated, then there shouldn't be a vbios available that would fix your problem.

Well... at least I will try to flash it with an EVGA bios that fixed the issue.
MSI vBIOS (latest) are from May last year.
So i will try that. if not, yeah it's an issue with the monitor and i will switch the monitor.

Thanks but that doesnt work in MSI SUPRIM X 3080 ti
 
It appears : already updated.
 
MSI is the only brand that didnt do a vBIOS updayte like ASUS and EVGA. which is a mess.
I managed to flash a EVGA bios in my SILENT MSI SUPRIM X vBIOS.
 
It's so bad to need to this in a so expensive card.
Hence my question...
You said there was an update from the major brands... not MSI. 
Suprim X only has bios from april last year. 
None after the july fixes in other brands.


The odds of EVGA doing anything to fix your issue on your MSI GPU, is approximately zero.

Oh I was not posting to get a solution.
The solution is pretty simple. Flash the silent vbIOS in my MSI card with the EVGA vBIOS with the fix.
I know that.
It was only a doubt because someone said there was an update from MSI. which is not true.

Same here with 3080 ti on MSI UNIFY-X Z690. The problem persists since Z390 for me.
DisplayPort is screwed. I have several high-end DP cables and the working one is only HDMI. Didn't switch to CSM and won't.
Display port update tool by Nvidia doesn't help at all. The issue is VBIOS. C'mon EVGA, do something, gosh.. The last update was in 2021 July.
