Is it correct that all sku ending in KL are LHR (low Hash Rate) from EVGA?
Are all the 3000 series cards LHR now?
Really interested, I don't want to purchase a card gimped from the start. It affects resale, and the ability to get a return on your investment, and who know what else in the future.
Is it still possible to get cards that are not LHR from evga? If so which ones?
Thanks for any input.

Full hash rate, no announced plans for LHR:
3090

Transitioning to LHR:
KR SKU is full hash rate, KL SKU is LHR:

3060 Ti     (3663-KL has already shown up on Newegg)
3070     (3767-KL has already shown up on Newegg)
3080

All models LHR, regardless of SKU:
3060 (unless you use the leaked dev driver)
3070 Ti
3080 Ti (SKUs say KR but that's a coincidence due to timing, see https://twitter.com/EVGA_JacobF/status/1400142338668728322 )

New 3060s have a KR sku and will not work with the leaked dev driver.  They show up in GPU-Z with PCIE DEVICE ID: 2504.

All new GPU are with KL sku unless it's a 3090. I still don't get how this KL going to help gamer when the LHG GPUs are still great for mining for other crypto.

This is not entirely true.

As mentioned, there are two types of 3060. They are all intended to be LHR but the earlier version can be bypassed, the more recent version cannot be bypassed (as of the time I write this). Both of them have a KR SKU.

3080 Ti cards DO NOT have a KL SKU, they are KR, but they are LHR cards.

EVGA has sent a few emails for people listed in queues, advising that the available model they signed up for is only available in LHR version, with no info regarding a standard model.

Considering that they are not gimped in regards to gaming performance, the sane choice is to take what you are offered in this times, especially at this price point.

I hate the argument of resale value. If the purpose is to buy a graphics card for gaming, you wouldn't  think about resale value down the line.

Your main interest is to enjoy your product at the fullest, unless you intend to mine on that GPU.

People who like to upgrade every generation absolutely do care about resale value. Resale value is a legitimate concern. Especially now that "entry level" cards are $400-$500 and top end cards are $1500-$2000 at MSRP.

The whole LHR thing has been a stupid gimmick from the start. It doesn't help gamers at all. It wasn't intended to help gamers at all.

this is the $500 question and thanks to EVGA and NVIDIA, I'm out $500. The newer 3060 model, -3657-KR isn't recognized by the 470.05 driver. I'm disappointed in the failure to label these accordingly.

Not true. I have a 3080 Ti XC3 I signed up for in June for elites. It is a KR card. I have a 3080 ftw ultra kl card, there is nothing wrong with having either IMHO.
I'm pretty sure no one is gonna pass on a gpu nowadays because its lhr.

I'm selling my 3080 ti xc3 because my 3080 ftw serves me fine.
