I have a EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING and I also purchased the hybrid kit to go with it that I installed myself. The temperatures on the card are fine but I am having a similar issue to many others here where even playing a simple game like Cities Skylines causes the screen to go black and for the fans to ramp up to 100% before the system just crashes outright. When checking the event viewer afterwards I have the following:

This black screen and fans issue has happened even if I reset everything to stock settings, including no OC on the CPU, RAM, etc. Ive even undervolted the card and the crash still occurs.
This happens on pretty much any game I play at this point and Id like to get a replacement, however I am wondering what the RMA process is going to be since I purchased the hybrid kit separately. Am I going to have to tear down the card
again and replace the cover with the stock air cooler before returning? If so, what am I supposed to do about the now-useless thermal pads that will be ripped and torn, does EVGA offer replacements for the thermal pads or am I going to have to RMA the hybrid kit itself as well?
