World War Z Aftermath is coming to PC and consoles this year | OC3D News (overclock3d.net) Saber Interactive has just revealed World War Z: Aftermath, an upgraded version of 2019's World War Z that features new levels, new classes, next-generation enhancements and much more. World War Z is a co-op zombie survival game that, and Aftermath delivers all of the content that World War Z: Game of the Year Edition possesses alongside a new first-person mode, new melee mechanics and new undead creatures.
On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, World War Z: Aftermath will be playable at 4K 60 FPS, giving users of today's high-end consoles a significant resolution and framerate boost. Aftermath will include three new locations, including Rome, Vatican City and the Kamchatka Peninsula. All locations from World War Z will also be available. Owners of World War Z will be able to purchase Aftermath for $19.99, whereas newcomers to the game will have to pay $39.99. World War Z Aftermath will release this year, though the game will receive a fully upgraded next-generation version in 2022.
At launch, World War Z Aftermath will support Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4 through backwards compatibility with 60 FPS framerate support, but the game's full next-generation update will land in 2022 as a free upgrade for users of next-generation systems.
It will be interesting to see if the release will be on time with so many other gaming companies delaying their game releases.
