Hey guys this is my config
i7-4930k - asus sabertooth x79 lga 2011 - 24gb ram quad channel - psu cooler master V700 GOLD
old system but quality, since i want wait AM5, ddr5 etc to upgrade so 2022/2023 i want try to stay with my currently config with an high end gpu like 3060 - 3070(so like 2080ti)
my target is 1080p-144hz playing high/ultra, and i can accept to play at 120fps instead 160fps in some games (FOR EXAMPLE) due to the system bottleneck BUT i do not trust bottleneck calculators and im searching some REAL feedbacks! thanks

    to put in perspective this was with a 780 to 1080 on a x5690 x58 board.  I went from roughly 100-110 fps in cod ww2 when i changed to a 1700x it went up to 130-140 @ 1200p,  i know this isnt the gen cpu/board and card but might give you a point to look at

    Ryzen 5800x3d, 32gb 3200 ddr4, kraken x62, gigabyte x370 k7, aorus master 3080, Evga 850 p2, Samsung 970 evo plus 2tb, Crucial MX300 1 TB, 4x wd blue m2 ssd on a converter m2 to sata
    Oldie But Good: Cooler Master 942 HAF X, Xeon X5690, Swiftech H220X, EVGA x58 FTW3 ,24gb samsung ecc 1333 , EVGA GTX 780 ftw acx, Corsair ax850, Samsung 840 pro 256, 120gb Corsair Force, 1tb wd Black 64mb, Win 10

    no worries bro thanks for your feedback, is always good, actually i run a 5600xt and with doom eternal at ultra i can have 140 fps so is ok, but looking at the next games like far cry 6 i need a stronger card to have like 80 /90 fps, so i was wondering if a 3070 can bottleneck too much

    try this  --> https://pc-builds.com/calculator/

    I think your bigger issue will be the PSU.    You really should have a  750Platinum / or 850W Gold or better unit to run the 30xx series cards.

    Your processor is too weak for this graphic card on 1080p resolution
    Intel Core i7-4930K (Clock speed at 100%) with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (Clock speed at 100%) x1 will produce 12.71% of CPU bottleneck on 1080p resolution. Everything over 10% is considered as bottleneck.
