So I finally got my 3090 Kingpin hybrid.

What settings need to be changed in the bios? Someone said Above 4G coding should be Enabled, What exactly does this do?

Also I go into the Nvidia computer info screen and it shows the 24gigs of dedicated video memory but also lists 56gigs of shared memory.... How can I change this or lower it? Pretty sure i'm not going to run out of dedicated ram on the GPU... Seems to be using up alot of my Memory which used to be used for the system. I have noticed this when having 25+ browser windows open or running a process for CAD/CAM the screen goes black and flickers as if the system is running out of memory. Which didn't happen before installing this card.

So what other Bios options should I change?

Thanks

4g encoding enables resizeable bar support.
screen going black of flickering might indicate card or machine overheating. check your temps.

Sajin can provide info about this

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

4G Decoding should only be enabled if you’re going to run resizable bar. CSM will also need to be disabled when running rebar. Resizable bar support will also need to be enabled. A stock kingpin shouldn’t come with a rebar vbios installed to it, so you don’t have to worry about adjusting any of the mentioned settings. Shared memory isn’t able to be modified by the user. Shared memory is managed automatically by windows. The flickering could be due to using a non vesa certified displayport cable, or a bad output on your gpu.

    What exactly is ReBAR?

It is defiantly not overheating, the cpu has never been over 60c, the GPU was at idle state like 28c. I have two 360mm Rads, and 9 fans kept in a airconditioned room at ambient of 68-69F.

The video was flickering as if it was running out of memory. If I closed one tab it would stop, If I opened another it would start again.

Does the 1,000W XOC BIOS for the Kingpin 3090 have resizable BAR support?

Does resizable BAR not help the cars with that much power draw or clock speed?  In my 3090 it showed a consistent 3-6% improvement in a bunch of different game benchmarks.

Actually, 3090 KPE HC cards are shipped with the ReBAR BIOS already installed.

This might be hardware acceleration in the browser causing some issues - especially if you're using G-Sync.  Try turning off HA in the browser settings and see if the flickering goes away.

The op doesn’t have a hc card. Do the hybrids ship with rebar vbios too?

Newer shipments might.  If I know the OP's BIOS version I can check.

They STILL haven't released an unlocked bios with ReBAR? I was told it was coming months ago.
