Hi, I'm using 600w 80 plus PSU. Ordered 3080 to and now I started to consider if my PSU is good enough. Any recommendations for a new one and what specs I should look into?

A "Minimum of a 750 Watt power supply" as well as the PCIe connector requirements are stated in the Specs of all the RTX 3080 Ti cards shown. You can use the EVGA Power Meter or the more detailed OuterVision Power Supply Calculator to get a good estimate on your PC's total wattage need and see some recommended PSUs.

I agree. 850 at least. 1000w maybe too much but I've seen people get those. I'm going to get an 850w (to replace my current 650w) when I get my 3070 (when ever that will be). Go for a 850P which is the platinum series. I've used that series for over 5 years on my three current computers (2 ryzen and an intel) and never had an issue so far.

600w is not good enough for 3080. At least 750w is necessary.

As I did my research you can run it on lower W PSU, but you can get unexpected crashes.

The 3080Ti will consume 350 Watt. Add the power consumption from the rest of your components and then add 100-200 Watt to be safe. There are also several online calculators available, just Google...

With a 850w PSU you will be just fine, but if you are building a ITX system look for a 80 Plus platinum certification.

I was able to snag a 1000 psu thats really good but i had to throw it into my current system so now i need to get one for my 30xx series system and ill probably just stay with 1000 watt even if its a bit of overkill even for my overclocking.

I've heard of people running 3080 on 650W, but I'd advise at least 750W. Possibly 650W for a 3070Ti at the highest.
