Right on. Then scream unfair! I will not go back on all the cards I bought from EVGA but lets just say I have never had any other GPU but EVGA since 2007. I have not won any thing in the queue but I am still an EVGA fanboy and the only GPU I want.
Not to date myself but my 1st card I remember from EVGA was the 8600gs...
Yeah I had the 8800 gs or gtx can't remember but that was way back!!!
To try to steer this topic away from the anger (and join in on the nostalgia train) My first eVGA card was a Riva TNT2 (2000), then a Ti 4400, then a monster of a jump to the 6800 Ultra, when it died I got a 8600GTS, followed up by two 9800GTs, second hand GTX 260s, then GTX 460 new, traded to 480s, then went with new 660s, traded up again to a single 680 Classified, then finally, my first non eVGA card, a full reference Titan X purchased directly from nVidia in 2015 on launch day. That was a fun ride down memory lane.
I've had the 8600gs, 9800gts, gts 250, gts 450 FPB, gtx 550 Ti, gtx 560 Ti, gtx 580 superclocked... thos are my nostalgic EVGA cards... still have the 560 Ti and the 580 in the closet....lol

I get OP's frustrations and it is fine to vent/rant his frustrations. However calling people ignorant and being aggressive to other users on here, I do no agree on and it's going too far when users here just don't share the same exact views as him.

nah this has been a massive failure every launch I've been apart of. sucks to hear but no company cares. none lol. scalpers are this point are the only option. I've watched the que summary for white some time now. if you didnt get in within the first hr and thats being generous then you wont see a card for months maybe years. that's not an exaggeration. so while some have been able to buy several cards. several. many are still hoping for their first card. even though they all showed up right on time. just bad luck while others seem to get way more than 1 card. they system is extremely flawed and will continue to get really bad reviews by the majority. ive seen alot of places that were 5 star on the bbb site last year to 3 stars because of this pandemic. does it make it right ? no.. but eventually this will hurt alot of companies. evga included if they cant get it organized

Oh wow... looking at my old product list, the gtx 580 is still under warranty... forgot it had lifetime warranty...lol. Had to rma it once due to it artifacts.

Rofl i started this thread as a sorta joke. To piss everyone off. Get people to argue and get frustrated so I wasn’t alone In feelings. Truth is I knew I wasn’t getting in the queur at a decent time. although the logging me out at the email/ name entering portion of the auto notify at only 1 minute into being live was a major kick to the balls.... major.... like the steel toe boots kind. It’s already happened to me every. Single. Time. And it’s really my fault anyways for being stupid enough to think I was gonna be able to get past the “site is at full capacity”. im Just gonna list my 2x 2080 ti for stupid prices to fund buying a card at scalped prices. Sucks but it is what it is. Hope you enjoy your cards...

And yes it will probably still be evga ( ya you win I guess ) Sucks but it is what it is. Hope you enjoy your cards... I’ve got a 20% of evga elite coupon if anyone wants it
I was logged with sku page up half hour before todays (June 15th) cards went live. Just lots of aggravation, submitting the notify form 200 times... Im at the 2hr and 25 minutes in mark. So whatever time you entered in at, you did better than me. Unfortunately, I've been a loyal EVGA customer for years, and made my account in 2017... I don't qualify for a spin. Honestly, the ONLY company doing things right is Newegg with their shuffle. Yes, its a bit of poor taste bundling useless items with high end gpus, but I'll buy a $1,400 gpu, why not bundle it with a $300 amd mobo when I already have the parts for an Intel build. I even seen a 3070 bundled with a $700 monitor. EVGA should first fix that cookies message on login, than offer a similar "shuffle"/raffle type event for these cards. Limit 1 entery per sku, per address, per event. Maybe different groups as well by separating Elites from Regular accounts. But nonetheless EVGA should be ashamed of how this played out. Legitimately a new customer could create an account, spam the forum, spam the que system and get the site to accept their form before old accounts, get a fancy coupon, while loyal customers get in a 2hrs into que and be thankful to pay full retail by Christmas time. They need three groups. Regular accounts, Elite accounts, and Premium accounts. Premium accounts are accounts older than a certain # of years and actually have hardware registered in their account.

GTXMan EVGA like is fully aware their sites can't handle the capacity when it's for products this high in demand but if you think it's reasonable for them to spend a bunch of money to revamp their infrastructure to handle events which are relatively rare, you're being unreasonable. Nobody is going to do that. Anyway we're talking about getting in a queue for computer parts, not a life-saving medical procedure. Calling it "disgusting" as if someone from EVGA personally targeted you and logged you out is way over the top. One thing EVGA can and should do is remove the 100-posts-for-elite-status nonsense. I don't know what the requirements should be but the notion people can join the forum, post a bunch of crap quickly and become a member when others here have actually been loyal to EVGA products over the years and registered them to prove it is silly. May as well make everyone "elite" or nobody at all.
This 100 times over
The Elite should be based upon time registered and products registered
Tiered system so wave 1, 2 3 ect can go
Once a sku has been ordered, you are still in queue for other products but you are put at the end of the line at that point. Allowing other users a chance to get products of a different sku. At the moment we are all shotgunning it but you can buy multiple cards due to different skus.
I could live with that! LOL :) Not many accounts as old as myn... But thats not the way it is so there isnt any reason to sit a stew about it. Its not going to change.... Its upsetting sure knowing that some new users were able to que for every single sku somehow before the site would even allow me to que for ONE sku. And my time I was able to get in was horrible... Im so far into the queue. Basically at the end.... And yes I was F5in 5 min before launch.... Mega frustrating. But again. It is what it is....

Or, three groups. Old guys, Elite current gamers and creatives, and Premium Noob accounts. Old guys had their chance and should be able to afford scalper prices. Current gamers and creatives contribute love to society. Everyone feels sorry for Noobs. lol

glenn37216 .mOre Gpu's for me. Elite doesnt guarantee you anything. I'm thankful that EVGA's effort is far better than any other Nvidia AIB partner. Have you tried Zotac's queue system? As an IT server and system builder I've bought over $12,000.00 in gpu's from zotac in the last 5 yrs. And yet I have failed to register for their queue system everytime its came up. Do I feel entitled to go to the front of the line because Ive spent thousands of dollars on their products ? NOPE and neither should anyone else.
They removed the queue FYI
for a time, last night it was back to queue-it for zocrap

If the site worked to perfection like you wanted people would still just be complaining about how they got in "right at launch" and their queue time of 9:00:01.735 PST is somehow 700th in line in the queue. I'm also annoyed that it took me over an hour to make some of the notify pages finally process after countless errors (error 17, recaptcha fail, access denied) during various launches but theres no way to avoid complaints.

I feel your pain too.I like you always buy EVGA PSUs and Gpus because their the best money can buy and the extended warranty offered is top notch,so I am also a Elite member through purchases.Every launch I have went through exactly what you've been through.I am signed up for every high end 3080 and 3090 EVGA produces.10 months now and still no notify to purchase a 3080 of any model.Kingpin 5 months now No notify. The 3080Ti launch was a complete joke and it took me 2hrs 47 mins to just log in. The 3080ti has not moved past 7:41 am pt since launch and it seems to me that EVGA is just not going to sell the bulk of it's gpu's at MSRP.So sadly from my experience my Elite membership means Nothing just like your Elite membership means Nothing.

Yeah I just remember reading a story in PCGamer about EVGA which wasn't new back then but was pretty new and the writer was talking about how confident they were of their cards that they gave people lifetime warranty. I didn't get one of those I think they were the 9800 gtx but still it got my attention and the 3 year warranty was pretty awesome back then.
You made me look back and my nForce 780i SLI & GTX 280 is still under warranty.... As for Elite status I don't know how realistic it would be but i kind of wish it was any account with a Blue Ribbon instead of 100 posts. That way instead of spam posts people would have to post something worthy of actually reading.
