So the planning and understanding, going to answer my question? Because one thing I learned with a previous drop was that the site here seems to like to log you out even though it'll show you as logged in.

I have always logged out and back in to the EVGA site prior to launch (maybe an hour or so before queues open).
 
Then just refresh a single product page for the item I wanted. I have no other programs open, just a single browser with a single tab.
 
Click the Auto Notify button, wait for the fun little window to pop up click in a field an autopopulate my First/Last/Email. If an error occurred right click in the fun little window and click reload frame. (I have also reloaded the whole product page and restarted this process with luck) A person doesn't want to mash F5 or refresh too quickly, wait for the load to fail, then simply try again.
 
I also make sure all other devices on my network are turned off because I want/need all those potential packets.
 
A bit extreme sure but if you don't do your best are you really even trying? 
 

So clicking the Auto Notify button is better than directly loading the Auto Notify page via url? I've read back and forth what works best for people regarding that. Reloading the frame is what I meant by "back button" and it seems that has become much more common knowledge lately. I'm going to assume everyone knows the one tab rule already.
 
The "do your best" comment is exactly what I meant by people coming off as condescending, thanks for the reaffirmation on that one.

I just had all of the Auto Notify URLs saved as bookmarks in Chrome... and then at 9am I started telling Chrome to "Open all in new Window" until it worked. Got one at 9:02AM.

scroggs at my wage and almost 200 hrs of trying im disgusted in myself. thats 3 3090s i should of just started scalping my self.. 

I'd rather not contribute to the problem by paying a scalper, I don't need a card that bad. I would like to encourage you to not become what is making this market worse.

I got 2 cards that I actually purchased. Have had 4 notifies (one for a duplicate non-launch sku and was not permitted to buy, the other i decided to not buy)
 
I expect I'll get the 3080ti XC3 HC today or tomorrow or whenever they start shipping.

yeah sorry guys at this point bots are doing so much i dont even know if these comments are real. if ppl actually get cards from evga or if its just their way of breaking us down till we just buy from a scalper. never thought id have to resort to it but time is money. 

very serious. evga lost me and so did most other places.. the ones that were able to get me what i need will be the ones i continue to do business with. if scalpers can provide then at this point they are more reliable than evga will be for a long while

/edit: Also I don't mean to be condescending, I think people just need to understand this comes down to a little bit of understanding and A LOT of luck.  I wish everyone the best and hope they get lucky.  People just need to lower their expectations and try their best and hope for some luck.  When things don't go their way no reason to complain/wine/create a ton of forum spam as it won't change anything, if they did their best they should be able to sleep at night.

You are coming off as WILDY condescending. "A little understanding"? What does that even mean? I have fiber internet. Only one PC in the whole house. Hard wired connection. I clicked for the first time at 3 seconds before 9. And your condescending ass wants to tell me that "A little understanding" would have gotten me into the website before 11:48am? I spent 2 HOURS AND 45 MINUTES before I could get in. "A little understanding". You're a fool. 

cry moar. its bad luck. maybe only one PC was your issue? maybe not? I used 4 PCs and multiple tabs on each today. did you get stuck at "access denied"? that one killed me for the 3070ti launch.

I got stuck on everything. I got access denied. I got the colorful error. I got the evga "oops we're sorry, something broke". I got failed captcha. You name it, I got it. 2.5 hours for me to get in. And I did not stop trying the entire time.

i do. I got really lucky today with the 3080ti XC3 HC. I signed up for the 3080ti FTW3 HC last week, but that probably wont fit in my O11D (in slot, not vertical). So i'm happy about the XC3 HC. smaller and with only 2 power plugs. will make swapping out my 2080ti much easier.

horrible experience , this was my last try at the evga queue. 2 hours wasted trying to get in.

I don’t know what the short term solution to this elite queue is, but what I do know is EVGA doesn’t want their retail site down for HOURS at a time and people who want to buy power supplies and other products can’t even do that. That can’t be good for business.

The problem only gets worse as thousands and thousands will be getting elite status for the 4080 series next year. The 24 hours elite queue may need to change to something else moving forward.

I say just randomize the queue order for all that entered today that way it doesn't matter what time you entered and everyone has a fair shot at being at the top of the list. Instead of a queue entered time, just randomize the list at the end of the launch day and assign people a number so they can track where they are. It doesn't make sense to prioritize those that just got lucky while others were also there at drop time and couldn't get in the queue for over an hour due to technical issues. Randomizing the queue would also help with site stability in the future since there will be no incentive of being first to enter the queue and will reduce the initial mad rush. Anyway, I'm sure this has been suggested already since it seems pretty obvious.

It was glorious. That hard part is going to be deciding which cards I want to purchase and which ones not to. Good luck everyone. Most of yall need a hug.

So the planning and understanding, going to answer my question? Because one thing I learned with a previous drop was that the site here seems to like to log you out even though it'll show you as logged in.

I have always logged out and back in to the EVGA site prior to launch (maybe an hour or so before queues open).
 
Then just refresh a single product page for the item I wanted. I have no other programs open, just a single browser with a single tab.
 
Click the Auto Notify button, wait for the fun little window to pop up click in a field an autopopulate my First/Last/Email. If an error occurred right click in the fun little window and click reload frame. (I have also reloaded the whole product page and restarted this process with luck) A person doesn't want to mash F5 or refresh too quickly, wait for the load to fail, then simply try again.
 
I also make sure all other devices on my network are turned off because I want/need all those potential packets.
 
A bit extreme sure but if you don't do your best are you really even trying?

I tried with 4 different computers, every different browser and hundreds of tabs. Tried single browser, no tabs, tried every combination there as and no luck. I couldn't even log into the site for about an hour an half before the drop. Was logged in last night but got logged out somehow. Nothing I did worked, I kept getting the server capacity error. I tried from 7am until just after 11 with no luck.
Finally got one tonight at 8:42. 
 
Was an utter **** show and they should of never dropped multiple cards on the same day, not to mention they **** the bed in server capacity or this was by design since they don't have enough to go around. Much better to have issues and stagger the times people can get in then have the queue move so slowly that it takes months to move a single minute.
