Can't register EVGA-B stock 3090 card purchased on Ebay

Hello,
I purchased a sealed, refurbished 3090 on Ebay. Card works great, but when I try to register using the serial number, I get an error message saying it is already registered.
 
I followed the instructions on how to register a secondhand card (I selected Ebay for the source), but I still get that error.
 
Anyone else run into this issue and how to solve it?

    Usually, that message means that it has been registered by several people previously. Please e-mail us at support@evga.com with the serial number and we can help look into for you.

    Please also keep in mind that RX products do not have a transferable warranty available to them, please e-mail us at support@evga.com

    Yep, I believe the B-stock 1 year warranty is limited to the original purchaser unfortunately... unless EVGA has a presence on EBay and you purchased from them - I don't think they do though.
