Bought a 3060 TODAY (10/1/2021), and it does NOT end in KR OR KL… it ends in ”KB”…. What the heck can that mean??

You bought it from Best Buy, they have their own SKU suffix.  Examples:  https://www.evga.com/bestbuy/.
