Yes. Cheaper prices, although there will probably be models more expensive than 3080 models, maybe water-cooled cards. I've got a Lian Li Tu150 which is technically an small form factor. It can fit any 3 slot card up to 320mm in length but it could not accommodate any fancy cooling on top of that so I have to be more choosy.
Its a good job the site will very stable and give me enough information to compare and contrast the models that go up in a relaxed and non stressful environment :)

yea, its more affordable. In my opinion more ppl will try to get one than 3080ti

Unfortunately, these models are going to be bought mostly because the lack of availability on the 3070 and 3080.
NVIDIA is milking it as much as possible and the reasons provided for getting these out are silly.

looking at benchmark, i think it is a good budget/mid tier option but id go for higher tier such as 3080 ti or later.

both terrible deals. pound for pound, 3070ti is better value, but when you consider  the difference betrween 3070ti and 3080 and difference between 3080 to 3080ti to 3090, the 3080ti is better in that regard.

For budget builds yes. But most people recommend 3080 to future proof a little.

I am interested in 3070ti because it is more affordable. I would still prefer a 3070 or 3060ti though.
 
3080ti seemed very expensive compared to 3080, and didn't seem much better.

If nvidia could've priced the 3070 ti higher, they would have. Unfortunately for them, they already priced the 3070 @ $500 and 3080 @ $700, so they had to price the 3070 ti in between. So yeah, it will be more popular than the 3080 ti.

In general the Ti models are overrated, most people that already own a 3070 or 3080 don't need to upgrade and pay more for like a 10% performance increase.
