i was having some issues when trying to get equalizerAPO to work with the drivers and found i had to disable the startup of "EVGA_NahimicAPI" so the drivers would stop overwriting my APO drivers, disabled this, set APO to run on the EVGA speakers, rebooted and no longer had this issue. i use APO for the use of a custom HRTF via HeSuVi to allow myself a 3D sound on headphones (headphones only, this will not work with speakers).


leave the "NU Audio" enabled, just turn off the API
