Hey guys, my GPU was working fine until now. My GPU has stopped boosting during games. It will be at Idle (139 mhz) and when I start playing a game it will only increase my memory clock til 405 (from 202.5) mhz. Only after using my PC for 4 - 5 hours NOT gaming, it will boost to 2002 MHZ and nothing less and only go back down once I close the game. it is very volatile and confusing and i'm not sure when it'll work and when It wont. I am POSITIVE It's the GPU as i've swapped everything else about my PC except for the GPU recently, including a new install of Windows 10 (and tried other OS's, same problem). It often looks like this (attached picture). I'll start my PC and start to game, it'll work smooth at first, then it'll be laggy, then smooth again for one more spurt. After that, it will stay at a laggy 139 mhz til 4 - 5 hours later (only sometimes) and then I can play. Some days it doesn't even do this. I've tried deleting drivers, motherboard bios changing and cmos resetting, trying different drivers etc etc. Nothing seems to work.
52C at idle and it looks like you were hitting the thermal limits. Your GPU likely out of warranty. You can check that here:
