Do you think a good Motherboard is really important in a value for budget build. Or would you rather go with a cheap one?

A 'good' mobo isn't neccessary for a budget build unless you plan on overclocking, but 'cheap' mobos usually still offer some degree of overclocking through the BIOS and/or manufacturer's software..Just make sure it supports the hardware you plan on getting..If you go to the mobo manufacturer's product support page you'll usually find compatibility lists (QVL, or Qualified Vendor List) for CPU, RAM, etc. along with specifications, BIOS updates, and user manuals.

Good Motherboard is really important because all other components are based on motherboard. Low quality motherboard would cause some wired problems.

you should check out Hardware Unboxed youtube channel, they recently did a handful review on multiple vendor's mobo under load and testing out the vrm temperatures on them, and several of them false advertise, the result might shock you

so it comes down to what you are doing with your CPU, if u are just browsing the net and watching some videos, cheap mobo won't matter too much

but if you are doing more task-intensive work.....
