Can you step up from a 70 series card to an 80 series card?

As the title asks. Can you step up from any previous card to a new one, no matter what number it is, as long as it's your previous card is an evga model and you do it in the 90 day time frame?

    Yes but only once the card is released and available
    Right now no because there is no such thing as a 80 series card

    Well yeah, considering the current situation something like that couldn't happen. But can a person with a 3070 for example, step up to a 3080 ti, now that it will be somewhat available. I'd guess yeah but it is still worth asking. Also is there a limit to how much you can step up? For example going from a 3060 to a 3090 if they were both available and you covered the price difference.

    No limit, you can step up from a 1060 to a 3090 as long as you're in the 90 day window and willing to pay the difference.
