Anyone want to chime in with good/bad experiences of this version? I'd like to update but want to hear how it's going for people first. I'm still on 1.8.

Anyone want to chime in with good/bad experiences of this version? I'd like to update but want to hear how it's going for people first. I'm still on 1.8.
I installed Precision back in April for reBar support and there was apparently a firmware update too for my K|NGP|N 3090 along with the vBIOS update. I just happen to install this version yesterday because I wanted to adjust my lighting and there was another firmware update waiting for me to install. I'm not sure what it updated, but everything went smoothly.

update version still shows incorrect update and keeps trying to auto update from v1.2.0 to 1.2.1.0 and updates but still report incorrect update version as 1.2.0. so auto update from the PX1 UI is essentially stuck in a loop.

Doesn't work on Windows 7. Last usable Windows 7 release is still 1.1.7.0. I also just noticed that the Precision X1 website now only lists 8 and 10 as supported OSes. Bummer, since there's no technical reason this software can't work on W7.

Off-topic: Microsoft not providing updates is separate from hardware/software vendors releasing/maintaining software. NVIDIA still continues to release Windows 7 drivers, for example, as do many other hardware manufacturers; software vendors fall in to the same boat. Thus, as I said in my post: there is no technical reason Precision X1 cannot work on Windows 7. I won't reply to replies of this sort going forward, as they do not address the core point or issue.

You don't need Precision X1 for any graphics card to work as it should, just the NVIDIA driver..Precision X1 is a utility for GPU overclocking, fan(s) control, LED control, and other stuff..See the Key Features..You can get better performance using Precision X1.

Is there even any reason to try this if none of the above points apply to you? I just want my f---ing fan and RGB profiles to NOT reset at random. I have all RGB shut off and no longer have my extension fans connected to my GPU. All because Precision is crap.
