Just got an RMA board to replace my Z490 because it would crash every time I tried to play games.
I can't even get the board they sent me, which is obviously used, to boot at all. just keeps ending with error code 7F on the mobo display.
Tried one stick of memory, tried my 3070 and an old 780, took out the non OS m.2 so the only drive connected is the OS m.2
Any ideas?

    Tried taking the RAM out altogether and no change, tried all 3 bios settings via the switch on mobo, no change, Reset the CMOS, no change, took the battery out for 15 minutes, no change, reseated the CPU and everything else, no change.
    Pretty sure they just sent me a bad board as an RMA.
    Not at all happy about the lost time and extra work and the extra shipping I will have to pay again to send another one back.

    You are either overlooking a critical part of your PC build or you got really really unlucky. EVGA is usually very good with customer service and RMAs (they happen). Did you get help?
