If someone is in the que and within the 90 days when the new TI cards release, would it be worth leaving the original que and moving to the new cards?  For instance if you were in the 3070 que which seems to be picking up steam, is it a worthwhile gamble to jump to the new que for a better card and hope that it comes faster?

We have No idea about availability .... especially GPUs that have not launched

There is No way to know when a "Ti" will be added to the Step-Up

If you want to try .... you Must cancel the first Step-Up first & still be in your 90 day window to signup for the "Ti"

I would wait until the 3080 TI is released first and then see if you can move back in.  If you are worried about using up your step up ability I would move to the 3080 queue first before your name comes up.  That queue is backlogged a bit.

Like Cool mentioned, just because they release the 3080 TI doesn't mean it will be available for the step up.  Only select models of GPU are options for the step up so it could be a gamble.  If you just bought a GPU, then I'd enter the 3080 queue since you can sit there for 90 days from the date of purchase with options to leave, change, or step up.  You can use that time waiting to see what your options will be.  If you are looking to step up to a 3070/3090 those queues are pretty much caught up so the time lost wont be much at all.  I think the 3070 queue is like 1-2 months and the 3090 queue was less than a month just a little while back.

It all depends on when you bought your new GPU which is eligible to step up and when/if EVGA adds the 3080TI to the step up option.

I am in 3070 que and would not leave before another que is open.  My question was more "IF" 3070ti and 3080ti go to step up before my or anyone's 90 days is over should you move over for a chance at getting a card faster. Or do we anticipate these cards could go the way of the 3080 step-up and be a 9 month process.

If you leave and can't get into the other one you're screwed, so I'd wait and see what the deal is.

I purchased a card on May 5 and was signed up for the step-up to the 3080. I switched queues to the 3080ti today. Cancelled the 3080 step up and rejoined 3080ti queue. I'm firmly within the 90 days and had no issues switching. I dont think you can switch outside of the 90 days.

NGL if you get a 3070/80/90 you can probably just resell and buy yourself a better 3080ti or 3090

So cannot be in the queue for 2 different cards? I'm in the queue for 3060ti XC for a small ITX case and plan to be in the queue for 3070ti for a O11 dynamic mini case. I know there is a limit of one per household, but I though this applies to the specific model / 1 item. Does anybody has confirmation/more details on this?

You can't be in the queue for the same Step-up for two different cards (i.e. If you have a 3060 you can't be in a step-up queue for both a 3070 and a 3080 at the same time). You can be in as many queues as you want for new purchases as long as it's not more than one of any given model number.

You can't be in the queue for the same Step-up for two different cards (i.e. If you have a 3060 you can't be in a step-up queue for both a 3070 and a 3080 at the same time). Ok, get it now, missed the step up part, thought it's referring to purchase queue. Thank you for helping and confirming that you can be in queue for multiple SKUs.
