I am getting a new issues with Precision X after latest nvidia update.

I keep getting lil popup boxes from Precision X telling "A task was canceled". I have no idea what task it's talking about or why it keeps popping up so much. I tried googling for this issue and I don't see any other posts about it.
 
Anyone have any ideas?

    I'm also getting this popup. Looks to be related to the "Check updates" functionality.

    Same issue. Started popping up a few days ago, though I think it was after a Windows update for me. I didn't update my Nvidia drivers yet.

    No, don't give us generic links to the FAQ - not helpful and slightly insulting.
     
    This affects the Steam installed version of Precision X1, and the workaround is to disable the update checking from within the app.
     
    Setup -> General -> Check updates -> Never
     
    The native update checking is not required when the app is managed through steam.

    I'm not using the Steam installed version, and I'm having the same issue. But it does have to do with the updater task scheduling.

    Yea I am not using the steam version either this is the standalone version
    This is definitely a new bug and it seems to cross platforms.
     
    Just for further clarity this is happening in version Version 1.2.0.0
    I tried rolling back to version Version 1.1.9.0 and it also happens there too (and I know it never used to)
     
    I am not sure what's going on here. This may be related to this software talking to your servers and throwing errors. That would explain why even rolling back to a fully functioning version would throw the same errors as the newest update.
