Is there any type of 90 degree USB 3.2 extender cable you can use? I've seen some online.

It's what appears to be a proprietary riser connecter, with a t block shape. I may try to use an exacto knife to shave very small amounts of plastic off the side of the plug.

Maybe ask customer service about this.

Just got a note back from them  -- "look around online, maybe you can find one."
Not my favorite reply. I've spent an hour searching online for a right angle version of that connector, but I dont know the exact name of it and EVGA doesnt seem to either. I would have to buy 4-5 different similar connectors and try them all.
For the z690 Classified + 3090ti ultra to have this problem is a fairly glaring issue between these 2 widely used EVGA components.

Seems like maybe something like this could work for you?:
https://www.amazon.com/CERRXIAN-Adapter-Internal-Connector-Motherboard/dp/B0986VB543

No experience with this connector/brand (and there are others), so I can't say it's officially supported, but I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work unless defective or installed incorrectly.  I haven't yet seen a cable with a right-angle connector, so it just looks like adapters are the option for now.
