I have not seen any discussion about EVGA motherboards, question to EVGA motherboard owners, are they any good?

Yes, in general. If your in any other country than the US the RMA customer service is def not as good, but the hardware itself is built to overclock and they will last a long time if taken care of. I still own a 780i FTW that still works great and the P67FTW i used for 10 years and JUST replaced with the x299 Dark in the last 6 months that still works just as good as when i got it. Actually, i still have 33 days of warranty left on my P67, lol.

Really? My experience with EU support has always been good. Although, would not know if it is now.

My critique on the EU support is purely from what ive seen over the years here on the forums and dealing with people from there. I do not, nor have i ever, lived in the EU so i cannot give anybody a first hand use experience, thats all. As always take with a grain of salt.

I've always had a good experience with EVGA. My first ever board with them was DOA (680i) but was replaced swiftly. I've never used anyone else for GPUs.

I made the mistake of going with Asus on my last build. Never again. I got a defective board that they refused to help me with. Compounded that mistake by buying another of their products that I could get no support for either.

In stark contrast, I've always had good support from EVGA. They build solid products, and stand behind them when you need help. I have absolutely no reservations about buying from them again.

EVGA is a good brand to buy from. They also have great support and will fix any issues you have if they rise.

I can't imagine posting 100 to was here soon enough to earn a spot in the queue. I guess that means I need to buy one of these motherboards and a PSU.

EVGA makes good boards - they need to start supporting AMD now though - clearly AMD is way ahead of INTEL at this point.

I have been asked to put my old EVGA MB's in my will.

but, I am keeping the CR2032 batteries.  - only readers of the MB forum will get that one   :-)

I'm planning to get EVGA board soon, hopefully I can get it.. The issue with AMD even though they seem solid for more Cores+Threads and CPU I/O. From my research there are stability issues with USB which is infamous. I saw people mentioning how ASUS RMA is a bad experience and other QC stuff, while GB Software is subpar even though HW is excellent. MSI not much info.

So EVGA is a fine choice esp the fact that almost all features are BIOS controlled and not Windows Software which is way way superior to many boards in my book plus it opens up possibility of running Win7 on Z590 series too like Z390 Dark and Z490 Dark, only issue is they are too limited and very tough to get from what I'm seeing here. DDR5 and Gen 5 will be opening a new can of worms and the Intel Big Little Atom x86 is a mess for Win10, for anyone building now who have a CPU from maybe say Haswell era this seems like a solid option. DDR4 is very mature enough and Gen 4 RKL option for future is good, I would pick 10th gen though as I do not see any major upgrades with RKL. I do see that TiN also left EVGA so that's a void unfortunately in EVGA OC Lab and Xdevs content..

EVGA Motherboards are excellent. They just come with a pretty crazy price tag. That said, if you want a solid board with great support, EVGA is tough to beat. I've owned a handful through out the years.

Personally, I like Asrock, but i'm kinda a cheap ass. Less features, but I don't really get into crazy overclocking and stuff like I used to back in the day. So they work for me.

Currently I'm running Asus in my own personal system, it's also been a nice solid board with a decent BIOS setup.

My last 3 builds have been for friends and I used Asrock for them as they are just cheaper and easy to cost cut.

In the end the best advice I can give is figure out what you want as far as features go, and what you want your budget to be. All boards are pretty solid nowadays, so it just comes down to your needs and budget.

EVGA is an enthusiast company, so if you buy an EVGA board you will absolutely be paying a little more, but you're getting enthusiast features.

I have not seen an used EVGA motherboard at local FB market place/CL. It looks to be such a niche product which not many people buy.

Do people sell motherboards on those? I generally use Amazon marketplace. They take a hefty fee, but at least you can find people all over the country instead of just in your local area that happen to be looking for that particular part. I've never had an issue selling EVGA parts, by the way. They go pretty much immediately...but I'm someone who doesn't put scalper prices on things, so I'm sure that helps lol.

Amd is a must for me at the moment. I was considering looking for evga motherboard option, but if there are none ... too bad.
Anyone has a clue why they don't support amd?

I would highly recommend EVGA motherboards. Keep in mind their customer support is better then all other manufacturers. I recently received an  MSI board for an early Birthday present and can not wait to replace it with EVGA.

Unfortunately you can't become Elite member by using search on a forum
And if you want a RTX 3080 Ti, you have to me Elite member to get in queue from the beginning

I think this is a valid observation, it is also systemic in forums. being new to any forum can be daunting.

EVGA Boards are pretty good but their RMA service disappointed me so much.. RMA'd my z490 Kingpin, got a regular z490 Dark and i had to contact them to know why. I am still insanely pissed because i will lose more money (cuz i can't work then) when i have to do ANOTHER RMA once they have a kingpin available again..
