Dangit! I just purchased the Silverstone 1000 SFX power supplies because EVGA didn't have one that could work with my 3090. If I knew these would be released in May I would return what I have. Any idea on release date?

Already ordered mine i was just 1 click away to get the Corsair SF750 which i would like to see against this 850w baby 😌 my Lian Li 011 Mini now loves EVGA get it while you still can this PSUs are about to hit the market and soon many companies will start making this as default PSU for all systems obviously including the ATX bracket ❤️

I have had many PSu's and I will have to say the evga make the best quality. I would never buy any other brand, NO MATTER THE COST!!!

Hello everyone, would it be safe to use a GM 850 watt psu with a 3 power connector gpu like a 3090 ftw3 for example? (I plan to use this psu for the upcoming 3080ti). I am asking because this psu only has 2 dedicated VGA power connectors, therefore one of the psu cables must be daisy chained into the GPU. is this recommendable? any input appreciated, thanks

It technically should be fine if EVGA is supplying two daisy chained cables anyway. If anything goes wrong with it then EVGA will have to replace it. I probably would avoid using the XOC bios versions though and leave it stock.

The Spec Sheet for both the 750W and 850W units shows they come with two PCIe cables and four 8pin (6+2) PCIe connectors, that means each of the PCIe cables has two 8pin (6+2) connectors. In that case, use both cables and leave one of the four 8pin (6+2) connectors hanging and you're good to go. Here's the thing, if a certain RTX 3080 Ti will have an NVIDIA 12pin PCIe connector it might come with a dual PCIe 8pin-to-12pin adapter or you can buy an EVGA PerFE 12 Cable and use that..Those adapters/cables will become more and more available from different sources and more PSUs will include them too.

I just received my PSU I will keep updating this but so far right now has been working just awesome you're adviced that since its a SFX PSU sometimes the fan can be a little LOUD but its something that happens under load. Anyway you can trust and buy this PSU without any fear since you're covered with the excellent EVGA10 years Warranty give it a try you won't be disappointed on this small but powerful PSU

I'm having the same problem. It seems that the auto eco feature kicks in every now and then, which causes the fan to spike to 100% before tapering off. This is very similar to the behavior of the Rev 1 cooler master SFX PSUs.

Might pick up the 850, even though I use a case that can take a atx psu. Just in case I want to move to a smaller form factor later on.

Bought Fractal Ion 650W a few months ago, very good PSU, also backed by 10 year warranty, but these EVGA seem better power wise, especially for high end cards. Will keep it in my list if I happen to need one. Hopefully 650W will be enough for a 3070ti.
