For my KP card on LN2 bios setting, I was able to run a power target of 120 now the slider only goes to 105.  Does this matter or am I actually losing power?  I have not updated to any of the special bios version just the one that came with 1.1.9.

Could be lower than your old vbios. Use gpu-z to check the limit on the advanced/nvidia bios drop menu.

Hmm yes GPU-Z says max 104.7.  I wonder if that matters or not.  I haven't noticed any perf drop off.

    edit.
the above was from general where it says my max power limit %
I see this on the drop down:
    Min 100.0w
    Default 430.0w
    Maximum: 520.0W

I've only seen my card pull 452w.  Not sure what is going on with that.

Seems ok even though 520w is the LN2 vbios.

Thanks for the info.  Shouldn't I be able to pull more on the LN2 switch.  Any thoughts on why I can't pull more than 450w?  I'm on a 1000w PS do I need more PS power or is there something else missing?  Right now the other jumpers are default and while I do have the classified tool I would think I wouldn't need to muck with that.  I'm using the card as a "daily driver" so I'm not caring about setting benchmark records but would like to get the most out of it for gaming.

Overclocking the card harder will push it up to 520w. Different applications could do it too, but if you're running a certain app and it isn't going above 450w it's most likely because you need to push the card harder by overclocking it to use up all the available headroom, but you don't want to slam into the 520w limit as it will cause the card to reduce its clocks a little by hitting the power limit.
