I do like this Z20 keyboard, but the EVGA Unleashed software is utter garbage.
Here are the problems I have come across in my few weeks of using this.
• You can only have 5 layers/effects of colours. Other keyboards like my previous Corsair have basically unlimited.
• You can not do custom light changes linked to cpu/gpu temperatures like Corsair. (the side light panels in the EVGA Z20 would be awesome for this)
• The sensor thing is absolute trash, sort of detects my presence tries to turn keyboard back on when I move towards it, but mostly just gets stuck in what ever effect I set it to when it detects me, doesn't put my original lighting setup back. (I thought it would detected you being away from keyboard, turn lights off, then when it detects you turns the light back on according to your profile).
• The macro keys are SLOW takes about 3 seconds for them to play. Only useful for non-essential non-time specific applications.
• Because of the sensor not really working properly when it detects me (should be turning the keyboard lighting effects for the profile back on) I have the open the unleashed program and click my profile number to get my lighting layout back.
• Changing the profile with the shortcut keys barely works, I've set profile 2-9 to be ALL black, yet when I change to dark profile, so I can turn the lights off (as the sensor move away function does not work), it often just defaults to rainbow instead of going to blacked out profile.
• The hotkeys setup for E1-E5 are hard to bind and often reset to default (remove all hotkeys) when changing the profile, requiring me to reapply the binds again.
Nice keyboard but fix your garbage program...
