EVGA Mouse?

I asked in the Hardware forum as well to capture normal day desktop users, but wanted to check in specifically with gamers: has anyone spent a lot of time with the EVGA mouse? What is performance and comfort like? Reliability so far?

(being one whom has a barely used failing Corsair M65RGB, I'd like to make a more informed 'expensive' mouse decision on the next one).

luckily the 903-W1-17GR-KR and 903-W1-17BK-KR are both on sale for 50% off using the double fifty code LTTSAVE50. So if you decide to make the jump it won't be too expensive

I don't see them as appropriate for e-sports gaming. They are extremely overengineered, which is great for certain users. For gaming performance though, I prefer minimal and light.

I think for mice and keyboards, it really just depends on personal preference because everyone has a different feel on what they can work with whether it's with an EVGA product or not.

Size is the biggest factor for me.  If you don't have very large hands obviously you can focus mainly on features, style/shape etc.  But if you've got big hands I'd say make sure you get the measurements for the EVGA mouse before you commit.

I bought on sale just to try it.

Mouse feels a bit narrow but tracks good. I have an issue with hitting the side button in tense situations which I set to melee and it is getting on my nerves. Other than that I'm liking it. It's sitting next to a Logitech g502 lightspeed which I also like alot. I use no weights and wish it was a bit lighter. The lift sensor works really well too. I play at like 400-600 dpi. Daily use had been good I keep thinking the scroll wheel could use improvement though. Feels notchy, cheap and inaccurate. It sometimes doesn't register without excessive scrolling (imo). I'd also trade tilt buttons for free scroll like the Logitech.

Bought the X17 Wired mouse and Z20 wired keyboard with the LTT LTTSAVE50 promo.

    I love both of them.

The mouse fits my hand and has excellent tracking.

The keyboard is the nicest I have owned yet. Clicky without being too clicky. Nice tactile feedback on the keys. The top sensor is cool and the volume control feels really solid and smooth.

The build quality of both is some of the best I have seen. The software is very good. I just launched it to do a once over on it before making that statement as it had been a while since I used it. I did remember correctly, that I do like it. lol  Had an update waiting for me, then it updated the firmware of the X17 and the Z20.

    Zero complaints here.

I would say something that also fits in your hand/palm.
If it is possible, try some mice before choosing. Especially if you play FPS games.

Cheap scroll wheel would be a deal breaker for me. I use the Logitech G502 also, but I'd consider spending the money for visibly and tactily noticeable higher quality.

I use the X17 both for gaming and general computer use. I like the feel a lot and it definitely tracks really well. Some people say it could be lighter but I haven’t had any issue with the weight since it’s not like it feels heavy. I am surprised people can notice the difference between like two ounces and three ounces in a mouse.

Definitely feel on sale it’s a great mouse to go for and even at full retail I think it wouldn’t disappoint at all.
