From what I understand EVGA has no plans for an AMD motherboard.
They are firmly into Intel and Nvidia.

Could EVGA generate steady income if they started engineering quality AMD motherboards and sell them at affordable prices? I don't think it would be arduous for EVGA to do that. Many if not most of us do not want a Z390, Z490 nor a Z590 motherboard. Most of the planet are utilizing AMD processors already. So I think it would make a lot sense to start engineering quality AMD motherboards and start competing against other companies. Maybe what I am saying doesn't matter, maybe it does, I don't know. Ultimately, as a consumer I think its ok to demand EVGA to engineer AMD motherboards that are built to last.

The last time EVGA has produced an AMD mobo was nForce era hardware more than a decade ago. Unless something drastic happens EVGA isn't going to make an AMD mobo. They've had plenty of opportunity now and all the incentive of current renaissance of the Ryzen era hardware and they're still not doing it.
 
That being said, I could see EVGA doing an EVGA SR-T Threadripper workstation board. Hell will likely freeze over before they will though. Either way, I doubt you'll see anything like that right now with hardware production a total mess world wide.

How many times does this get asked? they had AMD boards in the past, they sucked, sucked so bad one could say its why evga will likely never make a amd board again.

So that's the reason? A failed product a Decade ago?

At this point even if EVGA wants to make AMD boards they would be foolish to invest in AM4 now. AM5 and DDR5 are not too far away and that would be the time to jump in.

I would immediately place an order if an AMD board from EVGA existed. As it stands, there enough Intel fanboys to keep EVGAs pockets filled, despite being the inferior product. I doubt EVGA has any incentive to deliver anything for AMD users until the performance gap is unmistakable and affects sales. Right now AMD leads by 10%, give or take. Intels rigged benchmarks and marketing for the uneducated close that gap with enough bs to keep the money flowing.

The semiconductor shortage doesn't help either, else we would see even more ryzen CPUs in PCs. Right now, I admit, I would buy an Intel CPU just because I know I could get my hands on one. I was super lucky getting my 5900X at microcenter but my friends haven't been so fortunate. Yes, the 5900X smashes it in any niche or professional application we use it for but for gaming or everyday use, there is little noticable difference from Intel.
