There's still way too many mid and low tier miners who are setting up small scale rigs that dig into our supply. But I hope more of these show up so that the banks at least lay off of cards meant for work and gaming.

The scam is that there is probably $1000 in hardware in that box worse case and they're selling the idea of something to you for $20-30k.

Good luck getting a return when everyone starts using these and rewards drop to near zero... (if they're real)

Its just crazy.  I mean if I were these companies, why would you sell a product that could make more money?  Maybe they've been using them while everyone "wants" them, and now its slowing down, they will refresh them, make em look good as new, and then repackage them and sell them for full price.  Like a double whammy.  I only recently got into mining on the side with only cards I have from previous systems, so that's my current 2080ti, my 1080ti hydro, my 1080 hydro, and an AMD 580 RX 8GB card that I had for an Apple VM build I was doing.  I haven't been playing games lately, and just bought the new M1 Mac Mini, and gonna move everything to a single rig in another room and just set it and forget it.  I don't make much, but like $12-15/day, but the fact that its basically free money, why not.  I find it interesting, and I still can't fully wrap my head around Crypto in general on its principal, its just crazy that someone came up with something and there isn't a physical thing and we've attached monetary value to it, and now that value is skyrocketing, but hey, its out there and while its not much, I jumped on because $15/day, $450/mo, $5400/year for just using the spare equipment in my house, why not.  However, now that I see how easy it is to make some money with this, I'm scared for the future of stock even after the chip shortage, because while its still profitable, things are gonna continue taking off.

Now one thing I am curious about is how these new Crypto only cards will fare, after they are obsolete, and not profitable, because now you cant sell them to games, so how does that factor into the overall picture?  But Im sure the profits will make it worthwhile, it will just contribute to a whole lot of e-waste unfortunately.

But I will still sit here waiting for my 20 series name to be picked in a few years to finally make a purchase ;p lol
