hello i have a renewed evga super 2070 and was wondering if anyone else has a lot of screen tears when playing cod at 1440p & 75hz monitor

    Just about everyone when not using vsync. A faulty GPU is not the cause of screen tearing. It is always, settings.

    Like HeavyHemi said, this is the result of not enabling Vsync. Anytime the framerate is higher than the refresh rate of the display, you will see screen tearing, as frames are being draw halfway through the refresh of the monitor. Setting vsync will make it so the frame rate matches the refresh rate of the display and eliminate screen tearing.
