UPS Lost Step Up Package

UPS has lost my package that I was sending in for the Step Up. If they don't find it and deliver it within the 14 business days am I out of the Step Up program? Is there a way to pay the difference and still receive the card? What do I do?

    If UPS lost your package I can only hope that you insured the package. If you did then you need to start the claim process with UPS. If you didn't you might be out of luck.

    In the step up procedures you were sent it says to obtain insurance for the package.

    I did insure the package, shipped in a brown box with the GPU in the original box inside. I've started a claim, but they say it may take up to 10 days for an update. If that is the case, then I will be past the 14 days for EVGA to receive the original product.

    EVGA can't send you a step-up product until they receive the item you are sending them.

    Contact EVGA and give them the tracking information just in case they do receive the package somehow.

    That's terrible but unfortunately not unheard of in these times. There was a recent rash of Amazon drivers that were stealing packages and in some cases replacing items inside with useless stuff that the person never ordered. Hopefully it wasn't stolen and will turn up. I'd definitely contact EVGA directly and explain to them what is going on. However if your original card never reaches EVGA I'm afraid you're out of luck as they aren't going to send you whatever card you're stepping up to without first receiving your old card. You may be able to get the monetary value back from UPS after your claims process is played out but again that's not going to help with getting what you were trying to step up to. Hopefully EVGA would be able to refund you whatever the difference is you paid for the step up since you won't be getting the card.

    Yeah it's unfortunate, I talked with EVGA this morning and they would refund payment. They will also allow the Step Up if it shows up after the 14 days. I would have to get the refund through UPS for the shipping and insurance claim. The good news is I am sitting on a 3070, and it's better than most at the moment. We will see what happens.     Bro, this thread made me worry about mines.  I feel for the OP who the shipper lost the package as it cost that person more than just the monetary value of the card.  I got paranoid about mines which showed delivered by the shipping company but not received by EVGA.  I hope this works out for you.  It would be great if EVGA would take the insurance money from the shipping company and allow your RMA step up to continue especially since you can show you sent it, insured it, and the shipping company admits it's their fault for losing the item.  Best wishes in this for the OP.

    If it got lost in shipping to EVGA and the shipper pays the insurance claim as a lost package I would be reaching out to EVGA and see if they can help out. Normally they are good when the customer isn’t to blame for a problem with shipping a product to them.

    I hope so, I was looking to see if they accepted Drop off / Will call, as they're only 10 minutes away from my house. I have been losing a lot of packages these days in transit, not sure if it's because economy and people are getting more brazen or what.
