I'm having similar problem, mine the led lights are out, and try to update MCU got the same error "device not supported".

I have contacted EVGA support and got RMA as gpu is still on warranty, but...............
You have to fill out a custom declaration if sending from outside EU, but EVGA is not responsible (thats what they say) about taxes and custom fees. So my GPU stack in customs for a week as EVGA is not paying taxes (had custom invoice saying RMA and value on it as can not insure if lost during the shipping it without adding a value). So at the moment £60 out of pocket and GPU has been returned back to me by customs and I will receive my faulty gpu (still works if do not care about RGB and manual saving of fan speed)back in couple days. Contacting EVGA was quite easy, but not usefull as they were saying customs has not contacted them about fees or parcel (I was interested how much a fees are and pay for them) also never responded to me as promised with info required. Courier said, the EVGA had been contacted many times. I were not able to contact customs myself.
So sadly only suggestion and lesson learned about all this I have: I do not have any warranty for my PSUs and GPUs (all of them are older than two years with extended manufacturer warranties). In case if they fail I will have to get other brand products with RMA centers in United Kindom.
EVGA: Please apdate your policies and way how the items are RMA from outside of EU. Maybe provide postage labels (charge shipping cost from customer) in this case You can value an item as £0 and take full responsibility if parcel lost during shipping, at the moment it was silly to ask from me to pay for shipping and value a parcel as £0 to avoid taxes and if parcel lost I got nothing. I know, that probably we are small portion of your customers, who are affected by this.
Or have local RMA centrs, even it might be longer turn around times, so you can help and deal with cutomers more.
Sorry for such a rant. But in current market without possibility to get reasonable priced gpus my kid is sitting for 2 weeks without one, just to find out that his never will be repaired.
Suggestion from EVGA in this situation is: Ship GPU again, value £0, (if lost in shipping I am not covered), state its RMA, pay again around £20 for shipping (cheaper as no insurance) and if there will not be custom taxes or fees, the GPU will be RMAed by EVGA. And probably then will have to fight UK cutoms to prove it is RMA product.
