Hi,
I'm thinking to upgrade my monitor to 4k. I'm currently run SLI GPU RTX 2070 Supper. Does it two RTX 2070 cards suitable to handle a 4k monitor? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Greetings John!
I want to preface this by saying that I personally own a 2070 Black OC edition which I believe is behind the Super performance wise. Therefore I've done a bit of research on the 2070 Super's performance to try and give a solid answer :) A single 2070 super will run games like Fortnite in 4k at Ultra settings around 80-90fps. More demanding titles like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, run at about 40-45fps on 4k ultra. Two 2070 Supers with NVLink can run that same title at around 88 - 112fps (According to gpucheck.com). This is a huge performance increase and brings this setup ahead of the 2080TI. In short, I think 2 2070 Supers would be more than enough to enjoy new games at 4k (Although maybe not all of them at Ultra settings).

i have a 2070 super black edition and a 4k 60 hz / 1440p 120 hz samsung QLED TV, its a win both scenario: if i cant run a game in 4k 60hz, then i play it in 1440p 120hz, and all on ultra settings...that being said, i also have it paired with 10700k OCd to 5.1 ghz all the time and 48 GB of ram

if you want to play casual games you can go with 4k; but if you seek >100 FPS you need to buy all high GPU of all generations; so it depends; I use 2k monitor 27 inch and it is perfect; just seeking for a 3080 to solve the GPU shortage

I would also suggest selling it as they are really valuable and you would make bang, then you can either wait for 3080 ti or 3070 ti or buy a prebuilt with a 3080

I agree with above; SLI is dead and will be less relevant in the future, if you can find a 3070 or better at msrp, sell your 2070s's and enjoy the more optimised performance ;)

you may do it, but in my opinion it would be better to upgrade to just a card rather then keeping bot. imho you can sell both the cardz and getting a new rtx 3xxx series even from scalpers. the 2070 is like a 1080ti, alone not capable of 4k, so it would depend on how sli scale and in wich game. sometimes it will work fine, sometimes it would struggle

I would also recommend selling the two and upgrading, if you're able to front the money and actually acquire the upgrade before selling. Two birds in your hand > that big one in a bush that everyone's eye-ing

I think you really need to upgrade to a 3080 or so to fully take advantage of it.
