I have searched the world(s) top to bottom for:

- Large Flatfish
- Large Mackeral

I am convinced they are broken and not in the game due to bugs.  Can anybody prove that theory wrong?

There are youtube videos to help that are easier than trying to use the in game clues,.... But I just didn't have the patience for in-game fishing ( just like I don't like to fish in real life either )

I caught some back & forth more than a few times..but...  I didn't like it.

Yeah I used those videos to find many of them, but the two I listed aren't in any of fish finding videos out there.

I hate fishing mini games.  Just shoot them with a hunting bow :P

Thank you though I have seen those already.  They only provide small and regular size.  The -large- size of the Flatfish and Mackeral are completely missing from the game.  In that youtube video the top comment asks if anybody found the large and all 20 responses say nope.

Great game, prompted me to play through ALL of the AC games for the first time. I am working back from Valhalla and am now on Syndicate. I don't know how I missed these games over the years. I didn't spend too much time fishing in Valhalla, but I did complete a massive amount of the game over the 126 hours that I played it.

Why play them in reverse? I'd suggest starting with the original for the storytelling feels of what's happening chronologically in our time.

Because of what just happened. I got to Rogue and it is just simply too old for me to have any desire to play. I knew this would happen, I just didn't know what game I would end on. If I went the other way, I would have never played the later games.

    Yeah I hear ya.

For me the original Deus Ex is in my top 10 games of all time.   I recently went to play it again and even with the fan made HD updates it was just too old and clunky to enjoy.   It's one of those games I'd sell my left kidney to have faithfully remade today.

Yeah I remember my friends and I formed an Ultima Online guild in 1996 and were waiting for the Beta test launch of UO, so in the mean time we played Diablo.  Absolutely loved it at the time.  Great memories.

I hadn't played Valhalla in about four weeks but FINALLY the last big patch has put the missing fish into the game.   And also the option to turn off those annoying cinematic finishers.

The fishing part in Valhalla is soo painful
A tip for those struggling to get them fast is to use a bow along with Odins vision  and shoot them
