I have a 3090 FTW 3 Ultra. I already updated my firmware several days ago for RB and it went without a hitch. Today, Precision had an update, I updated... then upon first launch it said my GPU needed a firmware update. It finished successfully.
What was this second firmware update for?

The MCU fan issue that was introduced with the first REBAR PX1 revision, most likely.

The new firmware and X1 version DISABLED ReBAR support for me where with 1.1.8 it was working.
Nothing has changed in my PC except for the new VBIOS and X1 version.
It says the problem is my MB (MSI Z490 Godlike) but I am on the latest BIOS (1.7) and it has REBAR support.
Update ME 14.1
- Support Re-size BAR function to enhance GPU performance including the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3000 series and others.
- BIOS updated to be compatible with 11th Gen Intel Processors
- Improved compatibility of PCIe-based devices.
Also, the fan problem remains and my card RGB still randomly loses sync during gaming.

What the heck, 1.1.9 just completely disabled RE-Bar support on my 3090 XC3 where it was working before, what's going on??? Actually I think 1.1.9 is broke..  Precision X1 1.1.8

Upgraded just now and BAR is still enabled. (Asus TUF x570 Plus Wi-Fi | 5800x | 3090 Hybrid)

Mine went ok as well and kept BAR support but, it removed the lower warning message (aka "Please check") - (Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme X570 | 3950x | 3090 FTW3 Ultra)

I always like to keep up to date on the firmware since last thing I want is to lose my 3080.

New Precision X1 works fine for me....no problems with RB...

So, after some digging, it looks like it's a cosmetic issue in X1.
Both Nvidia control panel and GPU-Z show ReBAR as ENABLED. It's only X1 that is reporting it as disabled.

yeah that whole thing is crazy, my 3080 is in the slot closest to CPU and 2080Ti in lower slot, but it keeps showing my 2080Ti as my main card in the Percision X1. So I had to disable the 2080TI in device manager to even do my bar update. I think if NVIDIA control panel says its on then you are good. I even have a i9 7900X which I can find anywhere if it support bar but Nvidia says its working. The Asus Bios says its working so I am going with that.

I had the same issue with X1 saying my motherboard was causing rebar disabled after the flash and initial reboot. All I did was reboot once more and enter the bios to check if the setting reverted for some reason. After seeing it was still enabled in the bios, I restarted and checked X1 again and the warning was gone and simply said enabled. Not sure if the multiple reboots or simply entering the bios cleared it up.
