3080 ftw dead

Hi. Im not getting any VGA signal with my 3080. My system is not posting and would get stuck in the VGA debug light. I bought my card on November and repasted it by January. I have a missing screw on the backplate though. Will that void my warranty? And if it does, how can i have my 3080 be repaired?

    Only EVGA support can really answer that question,... but I would think a missing screw would be ok.?
     The real question is if you physically damaged the card when you took it apart and caused the issues of it not working now?
     Any damage will be fault of a refused RMA replacement / repair.

    Go ahead and submit a support ticket and include photos of the screw you are missing and we would be happy to look into this for you

    I actually found the screw. Lol. It just lost its thread. But ill install it and possibly file a ticket for it. The gpu still gives me nothing though. Is there a possibility that something happened to the software that prevents it feom booting? I just cant believe that a card this expensive and a company as reputable as yours would make a card that would die in 6 months

    No problem. Even without the screw we can still help you. I had a chance to look at your account and do not see it registered. Please get this done and upload the proof of purchase and we can look into warranty options for the card.

    Hi Daniel. So i filed a cross-ship RMA for it. Just paid the collateral and waiting for the replacement and we'll go from there.
