Hello!

Simple question here but I am wondering what type of PSU Fan the EVGA GQ 750w series power supply uses? I am unable to find the answer for the life of me sadly. :(

Thank you for your time!

EDIT: I know its a 135mm Whisper Silent with 135mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing Fan but I am unable to find this anywhere?

According to Tom's Hardware and other reviews, it has a Protechnic MGA13512XF-O25 135mm x 25mm, 12V, 0.38A, Fluid Dynamic Bearing, 1800 RPM, 100.12 CFM, 2-Wire fan in it..That's all you need to know.

If replacing it is what you have in mind, be advised that no PSU manufacturer recommends disassembling a PSU..There are high voltages stored in capacitors that can be harmful/fatal.

In EVGA PSU manuals it says "WARNING: This unit has no user-serviceable parts inside. Opening the casing presents a risk of electrocution and will void the product’s warranty."

However, replacing the fan is fairly easy using common-sense precautions such as insulated tools/gloves..A common 3-wire PC case fan of similar specs work fine with a little cutting/splicing of connector wires.

Of course if there's something wrong with it and it's under warranty, you can RMA it.
