Hi so I'm stepping my 2060 ko up to a 3080. I was told from the beginning that it would be $550 after tax and shipping to step it up. Is this price going to raise because of the recent GPU price increases?

    Answer to your question:
    Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible. For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.
    If you start step up process before Jan 11 and will not be able to proceed before Apr 16 then  price or you will rise. You can open product details, find there "Cost Breakdown" and calculate new cost by using current MSRP as "New Product" cost.

    Use associate code to save 3% on your EVGA GPU purchase! And up to 10% on other products!

    If you are already in step-up process, I believe EVGA is going to honor the price before increase. They did on mine anyway, mine was started  10/20/20. There is a cut off, but I'm not sure what date that is. You can contact EVGA to verify.

    Ah I see. So if I started my step up in October 2020, will I be good to go even if I don't get to the front of the queue by mid April?
    I really appreciate the help! Quick and to the point!

    BTW my cost breakdown reflects the initial price of $809 instead of the new price of $879.

    I think that EVGA has done a good job of handling the price increase and have made it clear to customer how it breaks down. It seems like the queue to buy is more effected then the step up last I read.

    Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

    @notfordman
    Were you in the queue for a 3080?
    I started the step up process to a 3080 on 09/22/2020 and I'm still waiting...I hate my life.

    Even worse, a little over a month after I bought a 2070 to enter the step up program, I got a link to buy the 3080 but it
    was too late for me to return the 2070.

    Now if mine doesn't get done by Apr. 16 I'm not even going to get it at the price I could have had.
    I should have never tried the step up program.

    Doesn't matter that you entered the queue in Oct 2020, if they haven't processed your request before April 16th you will be subject to the new $879.99 MSRP. What you are seeing in the cost breakdown is only an estimation and in no way binding. So if they haven't taken your payment before April 16th you will be paying the new MSRP.

    Craptacularone is correct.  If your step up notification comes after 4/16, then you will have to pay the current MSRP.
