I don't think it'll bottom out like that again. Hopefully this pullback is making some folks think twice about starting mining though.

As long as their are crypto's out there that are proof of work, mining will never stop. Mining was ongoing even between 2017-2020 at the times we didn't have GPU shortages. Honestly the only way to fix it is for it to no longer be profitable on consumer grade hardware.

As much as I hate miners for buying up all the GPU stock, we can't really blame them for doing what they want to do. The main problem with miners is that they are okay with buying from scalpers as they get ROI back on how much they've spent.

Plus as soon as Ethereum is not worth mining another alt coin will pop and be new the mining king and there already some potential but right now everyone is riding on Ethereum until they can't. So Until the production and importing issues are fixed cards will still be going to scalpers for lack of cards miners are just adding to the difficulty of getting cards.
This. Even if Ethereum were to go completely belly up, nothing's stopping some crappy alt coin taking its place.

God, cryptos are such a plague. Worst part is that manufacturers have no real incentive to put crypto blocks on their card. They must be loving selling at these prices.

Card stock would not go back up if crypto mining collapsed, like it was mentioned earlier, mining relied on gpu's when they started well before the situation were in now which is due to worse things than miners. Im glad to see that companies are trying to develop cards specifically designed for miners so gaming gpu's can be left alone, but thats yet another electronic that needs the silicone and chips that are so highly scarce right now to gpu making companies.

Is that really a fact? If you look at the Ethereum pricing there is a slight decrease in pricing (11%), but the value is still skyrocketing
