Good for you.  It is obvious that different things work better for different people.

This is what mine looks like at the moment:

Did you see Ethermine changed the payout min? It's now 0.1 instead of 0.05.

Are you transfering the Bitcoin from NiceHash straight to Coinbase with no fees? Are you selling it soon as you transfer it?

I would stay away from Ethermine as they raised their payout limit to 0.1 Ethereum. I have over $100 sitting on their system and cant touch it, screw that crud.

You're saying you are using an Exchange wallet to hold your Bitcoin? Not safe, don't do that, only transfer there to sell it.

EDIT: Oh, they said in a tweet that they will still do a minimum payout every 14 days as long as the balance is above 0.01 Eth.  I will try switching back to Nicehash and let my Ethermine balance pay out within the 14 day period.

Go to the "Settings" tab, you can no longer select 0.05 as the min payout, it's now 0.1 min payout. I was sitting here last night waiting for my 0.05 payout to be sent, but my balance just kept going up. So I went to bed and when I got up this morning and the payout still wasn't done. Went to the "Settings" tab and it said 0.1 in the payout threshold and I'm like when did I change that? Went to set it back to the 0.05 and it told me 0.1 is the min. This doesn't sit well with me because Ethereum has dropped 2.3% since the 0.05 payout time and it keeps dropping.

They do say in their payout policy now, "Unpaid balances above 0.05 ETH will be paid out every 7 days" but I hit 0.05 in 3 days. Now my payouts won't come until 6 days. I'm also seeing way more Stale shares on Ethermine and I hardly ever got a Stale share at NiceHash. I'm seeing 1% constantly, 2% a lot and 3% at times. I think Ethermine is padding their pockets with Stale shares.

Thought I would give Ethermine another shot, but the min 0.1 payout plus all the Stale shares I'm seeing seals the deal, back to NiceHash for me.

Yeah, I saw that.  But they still payout a way lower minimum every 14 days, so I am going to try switching back to Nicehash and rest assured that I will get my Ethermine balance payout within 14 days.

Grrrrr, this makes me very unhappy. Went to bed last night and Eth was almost $2k, just checked and it's at $1.8k. I'm losing money because they didn't want to make as many payouts. I will never go back to Ethermine, they lost my business forever.

Did you make the switch back to NiceHash? They have been cranking out the Bitcoin today, wish this was all the time.

EDIT: Just noticed NiceHash lowered their payout/withdraw limit. It was 0.001, but it's 0.0005 now.

You still need to send it to Coinbase to exchange it for USD.

Re: EVGA GTX 1080SC + Mining Question 2021/02/26 16:38:38 (permalink)
Did you guys know NiceHash now has new servers to connect to depending on your location?

You have the standard address that the NiceHash miner uses.

daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353

Now NiceHash has added.

daggerhashimoto.usa-east.nicehash.com:3353
daggerhashimoto.usa-west.nicehash.com:3353

Now this can affect your stale shares as your latency to each server can be vastly different. The quicker your ping to the sever, the less likelihood of getting stale shares.

Since I live in Missouri, I wasn't sure which server would be the best for me. My results when pinging each different server.

East server address. (1st best)

Standard server address. (2nd best)

West server address. (3rd best)

If you would like to test this yourself, download this stratum-ping tester from here.

https://github.com/2miners/stratum-ping/releases

Create a bat file for each server using these commands.

I call this ping-nh.bat

stratum-ping.exe daggerhashimoto.usa.nicehash.com:3353
pause

I call this ping-nhe.bat

stratum-ping.exe daggerhashimoto.usa-east.nicehash.com:3353
pause

I call this ping-nhw.bat

stratum-ping.exe daggerhashimoto.usa-west.nicehash.com:3353
pause

So far I am seeing better results using the quicker ping server, so try it yourself.

this is the memory side, it seems thick, but this pad it actually feels like a putty with a little heat after you run, it will settle nicely, most pads are really hard in comparision, these are really nice
