Some of those bugs are from the console and even the PS4 and Xbox One version it seems. Luckily the game is way better on PC. It does have some bugs and some of them pretty big ones but it's pretty playable on the PC now and in a patch or two should be good. I just remember when Witcher 3 launched and it having some pretty major bugs but they got those under control.

Most of those are from the consoles. That is what happens when you hit resource limits on a console or even a pc. I had my car burst into pieces spawning inside of another car. Then one time in heavy traffic with an insane amount of cars and crowd around got in my car got sent up into orbit like a missile tumbled down in a spiral landing on all 4 wheels all my windows broke then pretty much went upon my merry way. Other than that all this stuff in the video I didn't experience. Some of those primarily the ones starting with the guy above the map making false claims is why CDPR disabled the command console, people making fake bug videos. I can say in 180 hours on the pc pretty much all of that I never saw not even once. When setting your graphic settings know your systems limitations at least for us on the pc.  Keep in mind your cpu, how much ram you have that's actually a big one, your gpu specs and how much vram you have. Once you bypass your system resources available in any way engines do crazy stuff. A lot of the PC bugs we are seeing are the people that think 16gb of ram and or some older processor is enough, to they also think a 1000 series is still enough or even a 2000 series with one of the other two things I mentioned lacking. Even with a 30XX card old cpu to not enough ram you are going to hit some nasty limits resulting in some crazy comical bugs.

what hardware you recommend to run cyberpunk?

Really depends on the resolution, your budget and expectations. If you want to play it at its full visual glory? You will want the latest or more beefier AMD Ryzen or I9 CPU's every bit of FPS you can gain helps. At least 32gb of ram this is to get you past any memory leaks/the engine going I am going to load way more than I should like crowds and other craziness. Not to mention the game chews up a big amount of ram then you have the OS to whatever else. Around 1080p you will want a 3060/3060 TI. At 1440p a RTX 3070 that will put you at Ultra/Ultra/DLSS Quality for around 4X-6X FPS. if you want about 70 FPS plus you will want an RTX 3080 for the same settings but honestly it’s overkill. 4k RTX 3080 or 3090 but I will say that is a lost cause at 4k, the hardware is just not fully there yet for crazy ray tracing lighting and that amount of detail at that resolution, you will have to sacrifice some eye candy for performance.
Here if you want some idea on just a RTX 3070.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gqGBTI4Vx0

I ran the game with just a I7 4770k, 32gb of ram, ssd, EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 at 1440p got about 30x-5x FPS but settings ranged from medium to high, to very few on ultra, no ray tracing lighting then Freesync helped smooth things out. I had a few drops but rare when the game went to 28 FPS but that is when I hit a resource limit mostly my CPU with the insane amount of crowd to cars spawning and the AI all taxing my cpu causing things to slow down essentially a minor bug of population/car density.  180hrs played and why I am patiently waiting for my new PC to show up. Hope this helps you some.

Also going to add see how the game gobbles up 10gb of system ram, that does not include the gobbling the os to whatever else takes up and that will put you at over 16gb used kind of why some pc gamers have major problems some of us do not have. Thus I said 32gb of ram gives you more than enough head room. 32gb of ram is the new 16gb of ram now.
Between talking to Craptacular to others, spending countless hours watching videos, reading articles, forums post, social media, Reddit and being a retired AAA dev that has not bothered with the new tech in 4-5 years at home this is what is pretty much what I have come up with at least if you want to play this one title to future games as they get as demanding with all the eye candy in its ultimate glory with acceptable enjoyable performance.

With the hardware you have now it will be more than fine, you have a fast enough cpu, looks like 32gb of ram, an SSD, and a RTX 2080 Super without RTX you will be golden, you might have to do DLSS Performance if you want RT on. You should not really run into any major bugs with the patches they are on like there 4th or 5th patch since release especially with your setup. I was running at 1440p with the eye candy set to medium/high/Ultra, no RT, on my old i7 4770k, 32gb 1600 ram, SSD and an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 with the EZ Configuration mod that unlocks some dev performance settings and had no major issues. So it should be a cake walk for your own system.

I noticed a couple of bugs during my play through, but not near as many as Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I enjoyed both games a lot, but they both did have some bugs.

The format of AC Valhalla will be the same unfortunately.    I like to sarcastically call Odyssey and Valhalla the "Second and Third standalone expansion for Origins" :P  Though I am enjoying the gameplay more than the previous ones.

But it still suffers from that open world repetition thing.

Bug I had (not funny but so anoying that i stopped playing till a fix exists):
At a random Time at playing my PC is shutdown and reboot but the screen stays black.
I had some software installed like Teamviewer to look at my PC screen and was able to connect to my PC
Connected i Realized that my PC was not able to detect my GPU anymore and was running in a super low resolution only rendered by the CPU or Mainboard (Till that I didnt even know that this is Possible with a Ryzen 9 5950X on a Gigabyte Aorus master)
Later I unplugged the GPU and started the PC without it and it realy starts up and behaves the same.
Only way to fix it was to press the CMOS Button on the Mainboard.

After this occured the 4rd Time I stopped playing Cyberpunk.

Had some new funny visual bugs pop up with my new computer. Like V going into ghost T pose randomly while driving a car when I crank up the visual ray tracing to psycho.

My problem playing through this game was not the bugs, none of them were game breaking bugs for me. My problem with the game is that it was just OK. I expected a much better game from the developers. The story had great moments, but the game play did not live up to any expectations that I had for this game. The game play was just nothing special at all, it was actually highly mediocre.

Yeah it's hard to believe it's from the same company that brought us Witcher 3.

Not really, a pandemic, people not at the office working from home, a game that has more detail than the Witcher and way more stuff in terms of the environment of Night City all jam packed in one place. New mechanics in an area they have never done before stepping out of their Witcher comfort zone.

Not really, a pandemic, people not at the office working from home, a game that has more detail than the Witcher and way more stuff in terms of the environment of Night City all jam packed in one place. New mechanics in an area they have never done before stepping out of their Witcher comfort zone.

Remember that the game was in development for years before Covid so we can only accept that up until a certain point.    There are issues with the development and the company itself.  Have you seen this video? How would you answer it?

I look at this from another perspective. CDPR oversold this game for years and the hype was unreasonable to begin with. If they would of been decent on the marketing, half of this bad rap wouldn't even be there.

I think it has more or less to do with they are a newer AAA studio, and the pandemic messed with production, doing a large AAA production in an indy setting workflow is a nightmare. So elements got cut, and this is their first game in modern times/city/future settings. In that sense you are right a bit too ambitious in an area outside of their comfort zone.

Video game glitches have always been hilarious to me, going back to the famous Goleneye "GEDDAN" video. Cyberpunk bugs seem pretty atrocious - I still want to play the game *eventually* once I get some better hardware.

Yes, I do and do you know what the end process of any game production is? The big whole polish phase, and fix anything that is not right or cut it so it can go to gold" ship" spent over a decade in a half in the AAA game that I was an industry professional developer in it before I retired last year .  Honestly no there is not an issue at the studio, especially with what happened at the end of the production. It got messed up pretty bad in that regard during the most critical time frame. Really hard to do not in house especially for the code monkeys with everything being remote, files being checked out. That workflow is really a nightmare on a project this big. I would take my word for it over some random youtuber that has never made a game, or worked on as many titles at as many companies as I have. Just an FYI. Even during my retirement I had Microsoft try to hire me as the new Studio producer for 343 if that tells you anything.

I respect what you've done but at the end of the day it makes no sense for me to buy a game that is completely broken in so many ways.     I'm not condemning them,  just fix it down the track with some huge updates or a Directors Cut that fixes it all and I'll buy it, simple as that.

But if they come out and say "It's done and we're happy with this final release." Then no thanks.

Its not broken, they got left with a choice, production screwed during the big polish phase, coders unable to do their job to the full extent, higher ups and those with the money saying release it now, so content was cut, polishing was finished the best they could the artist who kept on having to work at home checking stuff out making it even harder for the coder developers to do their job. Newer AAA Studio on top of that... Only thing we can hope for is all that content is added back in like they did with the witcher 3. Sadly because they are not as big on the security end as say EA and some of the other huge studios that have been at it longer, everything they have got leaked and auctioned. Now things have to be done to close any loop holes with the engine, legal actions pursued for whoever bought their pretty much everything, to those who sold it. DOes not mean the studio is sinking.  Its far from broken that's the thing I played it on an old pc was able to beat it and only ran into strange things a tiny bit nothing game breaking more funny. Then with RTX on, I got a V in the car in a transparent ghost TPose every once in awhile with Ray tracing set to psycho. The fact the game even was even able to be released and fully playable last year I am amazed about. Look at what happened to the new vampire masquerade bloodlines 2 release postponed indefinably right now because of everything. The fact CDPR was even able to muscle past that, still release the game and have it fully working during the critical time of their production time messed up so badly. Its honestly impressive. Game is amazing if it was not I would had not put almost 200 hours in and uninstalled it demanding my money back.
