Ok? Is this at the micro center?

Believe it or not, contracts exist prior to launches for a reason. EVGA has a contract with vendors to send them stock as well. Micro center is a vendor.

If I may ask, how can someone buy 50 cards from EVGA and I can't get one even if I am in a queue from 28 december and is almost march?

When you say "Contract" does that mean EVGA has to meet a certain number?  what happens if they dont?

Retailers understand that their full orders are not possible to be fulfilled at this time, so they understand if half of their February order for 1000 units of a SKU is backordered. What they would NOT understand is if they got sent 100 units, while EVGA sold 1000 units direct from their own retail online storefront. That sort of thing would trigger lawsuits.

I also just noticed all of the MSI and ASUS cards in the stack, so I assume this is inside of a micro center and simply trying to illicit a reaction.

Manufacturers do no control how retailers sell the product, they can only provide an MSRP. Seeing as how MicroCenter is REALLY good about requiring people to get a voucher to purchase a GPU, I will continue to assume that this post and any post like it is meant to illicit a reaction based on the fact that these cards were probably set aside to be sold. Being as there is no information, I can only assume, since this post doesn’t say they were sold from a microcenter, it just says “at a microcenter”.

    It’s simple, they haven’t.

The quantity of people buying this year is utterly insane. I have friends that have never games jumping into gaming strictly based on being stuck at home all the time, and needing human interaction somehow or another.

Well, on the other hand, I eat more healthy food than at any point last year.
Healthier gamers will be able to game harder!
...should buy more workout stuff too while waiting for my spot in the queue...

EVGA and every other company like them gets a limited number of GPU's in, they have contract quota's to meet. With Etailers, Retailers, System Builders. Before they can sell any on their page, let your que pop, they are legally obligated to meet their quota's to all these companies. That said its why I purchased a built to order system from one of the system builders. I have no microcenter by me, then all the big places bestbuy and so on only sell them online, to even the etailers. I fought with bots for months, got sick of it, was in que with EVGA no avail, every time I had one in my cart at the etailers the miners/scalpers/buyers all with bots slammed the checkout payment servers so hard I would hang up and not get a card that happened over 100 times. Yup and it does suck because there are people out there going to these stores as well and buying as many of these GPU's as they can from the store. Sucks but EVGA is by law in a contract and has to meet their quota's to these stores be it a physical one or an online one and once again including the system builders.

You've been in the queue since December 28...?
Then I would say you should be prepared to wait a while longer.
I signed up for the queue on October 30, 2020 and I received a link to buy a card on February 23, 2021.
Total wait time:  3 months and 3 weeks.

If the pace of the queue is the same today as it was back when I signed up, that means you can expect your turn to come up sometime around April 21.

Been in the queue since 11/1. I was very late to get in. In that time I already purchased a card somewhere else because if you try hard enough and have enough time you can get one. The chances were better a couple months ago though. Mining is putting a squeeze on GPU purchases. Depending on the SKU, A Dec 28th queue I wouldn't expect to get a card till August.

At that time I had no idea how bad it was and how bad it could be in terms of price and stock, but if  EVGA keep its word with : " EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021" I would be glad to get a 3070/3080 even in April, just a little bit earlier than 16th of April:).

    Good luck to you all!

Ps. Got in queue for a RTX 3060 at 9:01:57 AM [Pacific Time] in EU, I hope this time I am in business :)

You're not even close to it being your turn. And no, nobody is buying 50 cards from EVGA except retailers with contracts.

Same thing did Notify before it was a QUEUE, got screwed as EVGA has never made the card again.
