Metro Last Light Redux is currently free on the Epic Games Store | OC3D News (overclock3d.net)
 
For the next week, PC gamers will be able to redeem free copies of Metro Last Light Redux and For the King for free on the Epic Games Store for Windows PC, a post-apocalyptic FPS and a hex-based medieval roguelike respectively. 

On February 11th, this free game offer will end, and Epic Games will start giving away free copies of Halcyon 6, a space strategy RPG about crew management and tactical space combat. 

Metro Last Light Redux is the main attraction of this week's free game offers, especially for those who redeemed free copies of Metro 2033 Redux from the Epic Games Store last year. Last Light Redux is a remastered version of Metro Last Light. It offers PC gamers improved visuals and two unique gameplay modes, one of which is like Last Light's original release while another which plays more like its predecessor, Metro 2033. 

For the King is a turn-based rogue-like strategy title which offers gamers a unique gameplay experience with every visit. The game's blend of unique maps, satisfying combat and the game's unique art style all make for a compelling experience. The game reviewed well when the game launched in 2018, and since then the title has been updated with several free expansions to make the game play better than before. 

PC gamers can redeem their free copies of Metro Last Light Redux and For the King for free on the Epic Games Store. 
 
Free games are great and this one is not too bad.

    I wonder if Epic will ever get tired of giving away games?

    Lately, it seems like they've been giving away more games that were already given away. They also usually give away games that I already bought on... Yeah, Steam.

    Maybe that's the point.  The more games they give away that were Steam games...the less you use Steam...

    If that is the point, it doesn't work. I almost always play the Steam version. The only reason that I go to Epic, is to see what they have that Steam doesn't. More than that, to see what is coming out soon. Steam has been a pain for years now trying to just see what quality games are coming soon.

    You can use Playnite to fix the multiple launchers issue.

    Was this game already free, cuz I already owned this one... (but never started, may i should, the problem then you are a "one game at a time" player)
