Sure it would have fit if I left out the center bracket of the case lol. I need that bracket which is why I modded it.

hahaha that is just the brace. It will have a cover over the back. I wanted to keep the brace but with the length of the 1600 it wasn't going to happen without some redneck ingenuity. The brace makes for a good spot to mount the fan and rgb controllers.

I have the 1300w G2 Supernova and fit everything in the case without cutting anything.  I believe the PSUs are about the same length.  All you have to do is push the HDD bracket/brace to the left bottom of the PSU and slide it to the right and it will then click down into the bottom slots.  Add the screws and done.

The 1600 G2 has more space between the back of the case and the fan. It would have covered a third of my fan. No bueno.

Yeah looking at your pic I can see how more of the fan would have been covered up by the bracket.  Less airflow mo problems

    Maybe not too much though.  EVGA says the 1600w is 85mm (H) x 150mm (W) x 220mm (L) and the 1300w is 85mm (H) x 150mm (W) x 200mm (L)

It's not just the dimensions, it's the fan placement as well. I am not too worried though. After spending time with the the file and getting it painted it looks factory now. Plus I spend all the time looking at the front and side :)

That's a lot of watts, what are you running in there?
