Hello all,
 
First post here. I have read in other threads about issues with fans so hoping i can get some info.
 
Recently my 2080 Black edition card has started to rev when under a bit of load. Never noticed this before but its really noticeable now. With the Precision X1 software you can see No 1 Fan isnt spinning and confirmed when i look inside case. No 2 Fan is revving upto 3900 rpm then will settle back to 2200rpm and it fluctuates so much causing a revving motion. I have updated to the latest drivers, checked the board is seated correctly and all the power cables are in properly. Is there anything else i can do? I tried MSI Afterburner but it wont give me the option to move the fan speed.
 
Bought this card back in december 2018.

    Hello and welcome!
    I had a similar issue with fans on my card and had to RMA. I would definitely start a ticket with tech support for that. It'll take a couple of days but they will take care of you. There are a few options that they will give you as far as trying to find the problem yourself, and if all else fails, you will probably be able to RMA. So definitely start a ticket while you wait for someone else to answer.

    Submitted a ticket and still waiting for a reply. no further forward as yet.

    I have been asking Fan Questions on the online support centre for a month now and still have no answer nor any offer of help from EVGA

    Thanks for that... called them and within 5 minutes had an advanced RMA sorted!!
