Hi! i'm getting the 481 error with my credit card. First times I tried i got the "Credit card transaction failure. Please try again later on. The expiration date or the CVN is incorrect." message ( I checked all the info several times and it was correct), After a few tries now I get the Credit card transaction failure. Please try again later on. (Error 481) : Other: credit card transaction failure.. message. Any ideas? thank you!

I've searched for info on error 481 and found this topic: https://forums.evga.com/Credit-Card-Failure-Credit-card-transaction-failure-Please-try-again-later-on-Error-203-m2832197.aspx there error number itself seems very broad as to what it means, are you getting any other error messages? Could be a problem with the payment method not matching up just right, or conflicting with something else, (billing address, shipping address, account info not matching, or that type of payment isn't accepted) so You could double check all that info or try a different payment method. Though it could also be a problem other than with billing.

Have you recently activated a replacement card? it's possible you might have gotten a replacement card, but used the expiration date and CVN from the old card (if say, you got the old and new card mixed up and haven't destroyed the old card)

My mail is not the same of the billing adress, I'm using my brother's card, so maybe that too? I can't use my personal card right now. And the cutomer support notification mail states: : "You must be logged into the EVGA website and your profile email address MUST match the address that you used to sign up for notify."

So in the page to place the order, the cvn number appears blank. Maybe that as well?

Yeah you have to enter the CVN code on the back, it's a 3 or 4 digit number normally on the back of the card. Needed for any online buying to more or less prove you have the physical card.

Yeah, i'm just stressed haha, and checking every posible option haha. I put the number in the checkout page and then in the place your order one, when you can check yout own info the number appears blank

Billing/Shipping Address
A customer may ship an order to an address different from the billing address, with the exception of PayPal purchases. In order to be able to process the order successfully, however, the billing address must be verifiable through the credit card company, which is explained below in the Address Verification section.
PayPal Purchases:
- Products purchased on the EVGA store using PayPal will be shipped to the address listed on the customer’s PayPal account regardless of the customer’s billing or shipping address listed on the customer’s EVGA account or entered on the checkout page. There might be other restrictions when it comes to the notify system as well, but I don't see info on that ATM.
