So i reached out to EVGA to get the UEFI BIOS firmware update for my GTX660 (P/N: 02G-P4-2660-RX).  They sent me the "2660 UEFI BIOS" zip file which contains:
nvflsh32.sys
nbflsh64.sys
update.exe

There instructions (via email) said that i needed to go to Device Manager to disable the GTX 660 before running update.exe .. When i did i get the message: "Can't find any graphics card installed".  So, i decided to risk it and not disable the card and ran update.exe, and it returned back saying my card was not supported by the update.

Inspecting update.exe it appears they merged the nvidia flash executable with a firmware.  I wish they didnt do that since one could then force flash the firmware.

Anyway, any ideas how to get this installed?  I tried going into safe mode.  No luck.  I tried running this via pure dos (said the update.exe cant be run in dos -- must be in windows).

Contact EVGA again and tell them everything you told us. There's nothing any of us can do. This is a user to user forum.

Way ahead of you.  Sadly, i already DID contact EVGA about it again, as i mentioned in my original post -- they don't know why its not working -- which made me realize it is best to ask someone here who has (or had) the same 660 who may have tried the same update.exe to their firmware and in so doing may have discovered the same issue.  So, as you can see, going this user-to-user forum approach is best at this point.

Did you try right-clicking on the update.exe and then Run as administrator?

No you didn't. Read what you wrote.

There are methods to extract the BIOS from EVGA's provided updater package, and then force flash using NVFlash, but if the BIOS is indeed not compatible, it could cause your video card to stop working if you force flash the wrong BIOS to the card. I don't think any of us have the ability to provide you a compatible BIOS.

For example, Bmgjet published a EVGA BIOS unpacker.  It should work, I think, if you want to get easy access to the raw ROM file from the EVGA update.exe file.

But, if you screw up your card, you have been warned.
